Saudi Arabia has said they will withdraw suport for America because of their refusal to allow the Palestians t?

the Saudis recognise there is a big wind of change in the Middle East.America is becoming more isolated because of their blind support of Israel. Saudi Arabia has been a friend of the USA for many years but now realise there has to be some big changes in peoples attitude. The Arab nations are at last starting to say America has to change the way it supports Israel

Update:

this was reported on Google news today. Came from a Saudi Prince Turki Al Faisal.

    1. Any evidence for the claim?

    2. I greatly doubt it.

    A) They don't provide us much support. Instead, they ASK for OUR support and station troops there to help protect them. They have done that since Iraq invaded Kuwait.

    B) They are scared of Bin ladin

They are threatened by and scared of Iran (and Syria)

Our support isn't 'blind' when it comes to Israel. It's a measured support for a democratic western nation, and besides, we've spent the last 62 years trying to get this situation settled....starting after the 1948 war when Israel was attacked by five Arab armies...long before Israel had any kind of effect on either the West Bank or Gaza. On the other hand we've supported a total thugocracy in Saudi Arabia from the end of WW1 until this very day because they have oil and we want it. If the Saudis want the US out that's okay....it's time we stopped buying middle east oil anyway. Worst case we could go to rationing as we did in WW2 and ramp up our industry to produce the kind of transportation we should have been moving toward for the last 40 years. Sometimes there isn't a good choice in these matters, but 'siding' with the Muslim radicals wouldn't do us any good. We need to get totally out of the middle east commercially and never allow a single Arab into our country until history works itself out.

Nonsense. You have clearly never been to Saudi Arabia (I used to work there). The entire social fabric of Saudi is utterly dependent on the USA and US products. Without them, the country would take one half a step backwards and be plunged back into medieval tribalism.

Moreover, the King of Saudi has been campaigning long and hard to have the US's full support to attack Iran (Saudi and Iran are NOT friendly) because the leaders in Saudi know very well that it is Iran who are funding the Syrian regime as she crushes her own people. But, the US are smart enough not to get involved in what is basically a domestic squabble between two rival clans.

Israel has no more to do with these things then it ever does.
