Tickets for Orlando Theme Parks?

We are going to Orlando next month to visit all major theme parks (Disney, Bush Gardens, Universal...). Prices are high for these parks and there are a lot of sites which sell at a discounted price which makes it hard to decide how and where to buy the tickets. Some people claim it is actually cheaper to buy them at the respective gates but I doubt that. However I want to be sure! So my question(s) is/are:

- Is it cheaper to buy the tickets at the gate for each park?

- Do the hotels offer coupons for the parks which makes the tickets cheaper?

- In your opinion or experience: what would be the best site to buy the tickets beforehand (printing at home is a necessity as we live in Belgium and using airmail is also expensive).

And the main question: Should we buy the park tickets before or not?

Like the person above me, buy directly from the company running the park, as it is unsafe to buy from a broker, for all you know they could have used the ticket which means you can't due to the fingerprint scanner, knorr is the ticket valid anymore. I suggest to buy the tickets online. With Disney if you stay at a hotel they often give a discount code they place on your account which could be for the tickets. Call ahead before reservations. But if ticket prices are too much for you then maybe you shouldn't go. If you buy tickets online you get them at the park at the will call window.

You have to be very careful when buying a ticket from anywhere else but the park themselves. Esspecially Disney. Disney uses finger scanners to lock the ticket to one person. Tickets are non tranferable. This means even if your mother buys one, only uses one day and then hands it to you. You cant use it not even since your related. The only place you can buy discont tickets safly are AAA, Military and certain large corporations might sell some at thier H.R. The discount is usually only a couple bucks. That being said

No, its actually cheaper to buy in advance and online. This also saves you from waiting in very long lines at the ticket booths when you get here.

    - Do the hotels offer coupons for the parks which makes the tickets cheaper?

No, There are no hotel discounts that I have ever heard or seen of. The people selling you "cheap tickets" in some of the cheap motels near the parks are actually trying to get you to time share destinations and are a huge waste of time.

    - In your opinion or experience: what would be the best site to buy the tickets beforehand (printing at home is a necessity as we live in Belgium and using airmail is also expensive).

I would only buy them directly from the parks website to know for sure. I have seen a number of people get turned away at the gate because of bad tickets. Need further proof? Do a little research on our local news and you will see a number of people have been arrested on ticket fraud in the Orlando area.

You know Busch Gardens is not in Orlando area. Its actually an hour and half away in Tampa.

Basically, the ticket prices for the parks are what they are. If they are too expensive for you then you really shouldnt go. Dont gamble on some site that may or may not be real. Save up and go directly through the Company Website.

Only buy from the theme park owners - Disney - Universal and Sea World or from a completely authorized agent. You should use completely the respective websites. You will find that in the case of Disney, there are huge discounts for hotels, transportation and food. It should be noted that a one day ticket to any of the four parks will cost you $90, but if you buy tickets for ten days the prices goes down to $29 per person per day. Don't even think of ebay or Craigs unless you want to lose your funds as many, many people have. Also be careful with some answers on y/a = It is NOt true that AAA offers huge discounts for theme park tickets. Their discount for their members is at most a few dollars.

There are ticket brokers all over Orlando and their game is to sell you tickets just below the gate cost. They have to move a lot of volume to make money, because their bulk rates aren't that different from gate. However, if you purchase multi-day tickets the per-day cost drops significantly, both from a gate perspective and that of the broker.

If you go with a broker make sure it's just the ticket he's selling you and not an obligation for a timeshare tour.

Go to the Triple AAA and get tickets there for the theme parks.

If you are a member of that you do not have to pay that much.
