Question about Disneyland and California Adventure parks?
I'm going to be visiting the parks on Wednesday.
I'm assuming there's going to be less people than usual because of the day and the season. We are not taking any kids so we will be able to move around faster.
Should I buy tickets to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure in one day, or should I stick to one park per day?
Thanks in advance

If you like thrill rides then you should get the park hopper as there is Tower Of Terror, California Screamin', and two other great rides Grizzly River Run and Soarin' Over California (the two last ones aren't thrill rides, but are still fun). If you love The Little Mermaid, get a park hopper so you can ride it (it's an awesome ride). All the rides I just mentioned are at DCA (Disney's California Adventure). At Disneyland, do Tomorrowland first thing when Disneyland opens, start with the new Star Tours, then move to Space Mountain, then head to other popular rides like Indiana Jones, The Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and don't miss Haunted Mansion Holiday. Pirates of the Caribbean is currently closed. If you get the park hopper, you can hit all the good rides you are interested in at both parks. Do Disneyland first thing when they open in the morning, stay until mid to late afternoon, then head over to DCA for World of Color and the few rides you want to hit, then back to Disneyland, which closes later.
Not taking kids is a bonus, you do move a lot quicker through the parks, and you can do a lot more walking without kids in tow as well. There will be less people then on a weekend. The early morning will be very uncrowded at Disneyland. Expect a line for the Haunted Mansion because it's decked out for the holidays.
Have fun!

I always recommend the park hopper, especially if you'll be getting to Disneyland when it opens. You'll be able to spend time at the main park while its relatively empty in the morning, then go to California Adventure when it opens and it is still relatively empty, then do all that you plan on doing in CA, then go back to Disneyland for the rest of the day. It's always been my most productive way
