I bought a Net10 SIM (AT&T) months ago.

According to their site (when I bought it) you could use an AT&T compatible phone or an unlocked GSM phone. By "compatible", does that mean I can use a locked AT&T phone? (i.e. Nokia Lumia 920)

I'm looking for work/hiker style boots (6-inch short boots) but I'm not familiar with those types of shoes. I'm trying to find something comfortable, waterproof (for snowy and rainy days) and durable to wear at work or casual. Some of the brands I was looking at are Cats, Timberland and Red Wing. Any advice? Price isn't a big issue.

Could someone with enough experience using those two kits tell some of the main differences? I plan to use them for hobby purposes.

So I needed to do a quick fix on my site (mostly HTML, nothing fancy) when instead of opening the index.html file with notepad I opened it with MS Word. While the site looked normal on Word, after uploading it all I could see were question marks (unicode) between every character in the file. Is there any way of fixing it, and any good explanation to why this happened?

My HDD has two partitions. The primary partition uses Vista and I want to install Linux and Win7 on it.

Would it be safe to save all my data on the secondary partition and just install the two OS's in the first one?

I need to buy a DVD duplicator (automatic) but I'm having a hard time finding product reviews on the internet. Could anyone who has purchased or worked with duplicators recommend me a good brand or model? My budget is $500-$1300 if it matters.

I've observed that a square waveform takes longer to reach its steady value (get flat) as I increase the frequency of the voltage. As far as I know the time constant equals R*C, where frequency isn't involved. so why does this happen?
