What time does your 3 year old wake up?
My son goes to bed at 8pm, wakes up at 615am and naps about 2 hours a day (12-2). HE IS NOW WAKING UP AT 5AM, AND WE HAVEN'T CHANGED HIS ROUTINE. Help!! Does he require less sleep now? Should I put him to bed at a later time now?

My son goes to sleep at 10 pm and wakes up at 230 till 4am then back to sleep from 4 to 730 am. Then takes a 2 hour nap from 1 to 3. They should get 10-12 hours of sleep.

Our 3 year old daughter sleeps from 9 PM to 6 AM, nearly on the dot. She still naps during the day (one to two hours).
One thing that helped us early on is that we gave her a clock that has a traffic light alarm. When the alarm is set, the red light is on and she knows that mean she stays in bed. When it turns green, she can get up. I was amazed it worked so well.
I'm the early riser in the house, so I'm up usually by 4:30 and well prepared for her, but I almost always hear her door and her happy cries of 'It's green! It's green!"

when he wakes up at 5 i would tell him he needs to go back to bed for one hour and i would tell him that is enough time for a cat nap...that is a little more sleep...and you will come to get him...
does he have to go to the bathroom then?
i would keep him on this schedule and not change it

My three year old sleeps from 8pm-8am and doesn't take naps. Stop giving him naps and he'll sleep longer.

toddlers actcually require more sleep. Maybe take him to the park or outside to play during the day, let him run around and get exercise, also stop letting him sleep for 2hrs, instead let him nap for 45minutes to an hour. maybe that will help him sleep more at night..

My 3yr old goes to bed at 9pm and gets up between 6:30am - 7am, ugghhh every morning, even the ones we can sleep in. He also takes about a 2hr nap during the day.
Is he waking up because he is hungry/thirsty? You can keep a sippy cup of water next to his bed, so that he doesn't have to bother you. If he maybe hungry you can try giving him a light snack right before bed.
I have to admit when my son gets up earlier than usual, I cave in and give him whatever it takes to get him back in bed. The other morning he woke up at 3am, and was wide awake. I gave him water, but he still didn't want to go back to bed, he told me he wanted "choo choo milk" so I gave him a small cup of chocolate milk and he went right back to bed....
