  • Studdering Problem?

My five year old just started studdering about 50% of the time. So far, kids in his class ARE NOT making fun of him... maybe because he is in a pre-school private school with only 12 kids per class in a really controlled environment. I know that kids can make fun of him regardless which school he goes to.

Do you think he has a less chance of being ridiculed at a private school that has 12 kids per class or at a public school that has 30 kids per class?

Your thoughts are appreciated. We are not sure which school to choose.. Both are great schools! We just thought it might be helpful that he would be in a class with less kids...

  • My In-laws showed up as my Bridesmaids to my wedding without asking me!!?

My husband and I decided NOT to have bridesmaids or groomsmen in our wedding. We only had a flower girl and a ring boy. I DID NOT ask anyone to be my maid of honor or ask anyone to be a bridesmaid. On the day of our wedding, my mother in law and two sister in laws (my husband’s mom and two sisters) came DRESSED up in the same DRESS (not just a regular dress – but a bridesmaid looking dress)!! WTF!!! I am not even close to them at all - and we were not thrilled about each other anyways! WHO DOES THAT!!!! I never told them anything – especially the day of. I didn’t want to give them the pleasure of me getting mad on my day. People were asking me why I asked them to be bridesmaids and not my own sister and mother. I had to explain to everyone that they showed up like that and I had no clue and that I never asked them!!! They had dresses made and everything and didn’t ask me. They even somehow walked down the aisle together right as the ceremony started. What would you do????? Isn’t that so disrespectful? And no = my husband didn’t ask them to do that.

    WHO DOES THAT?????????????????????????????????????

  • Birthday party at home or at a small amusement park?

We have had our son's bday parties at a small amusement park in california at Adventure City in Anaheim (www.adventurecity.com) every year so far.. and now he is turning 4!

Wouldn't you rather be invited to a birthday party at an amusement park (all paid for - you only have to show up). We pay for everyone's admission and food and drinks. The park only has 12 rides and kids and adults can go on all the rides!! Or would you rather go to a birthday party at someone's house? My husband wants to switch it up this time and have it at our house, but I want to keep it at the amusement park!!

  • Am I saving enough money for retirement?

Hi, I am 31 years old, my husband is 33, and I am completed OBSESSED with saving money for retirement. So far, we have about $165,000 saved up between our savings accounts, 401K accounts and our son's college account fund (he is only 2 years old now). We currently save about $23,000 to $25,000 per year and I am looking to save even more! We live way below our means in order to get this done. Is this enough money to save?? We also own 2 homes (live in one and we rent the other one out)

My husband and I bring home a total of $140,000 (gross) per year.

  • My 2 yr old toddler with Bronchitis... Why isn't he sleeping?

My son was diagnosed with bronchitis a few days ago. I was a little shocked because he really isn't coughing at all.. just a little here and there. He does have really bad allergies though. As for his sleeping, he has slept through the night in his room all the time, just up until he got this bronchitis. He wakes up crying for no reason at about 12 am and doesn't go back to sleep until 3 am. Why is he not sleeping through? Is there something I can do to help?

  • Jehovah Witness People!!?

I know you don't celebrate birthdays and holidays. So why do you accept pay from your employer for a holiday (like Thanksgiving and Christmas) if you didn't work that day? If you are getting paid for X-mas and not working, shouldn't you not accept the pay just as you don't accept gifts? Or shouldn't you work on another day to make up for it.

Just wondering why....Here at my job, you get a day off for your birthday fully paid if you take it within 30 days of your birthday. All the JW's took advantage of it...Isn't that kind of contradicting?
