Why do people view Muslims as the bad people?

Because so much of the bad in this world is being done by Islamic people - they even blow each other up as in Iraq when the Sunni's & Shiite's bomb each other's mosques.

Their religion seems to breed violence & I have not seen a full blown Islamic country that gives rights to women or people of other religions.

Because they started this war. If the Muslims had not attacked the USA, Spain, Britain, Indonesia, and other places, all those people in the middle eastern countries would not have been killed. So the Muslims cause all those deaths. Hence they are the bad people. I hope this helps you understand.

And why is it that American troops are even there? Could it have something to do with the fact that Muslims have been the main face of international terrorism since the early 70s, well before any real American military presence in the area?

Looks like some dorks here like to accuse others of murdering hundred of people without legit proof. Burning houses :

I don't view them as "bad people"

although when muslim people around where i live refer to me and others as kafar (sp) I regard them as ignorant and equally as biggoted as the people you are talking about.

I regard terrorists as scum, the lowest of the low and feel that is only a normal response. I am a christian, despite what religious background you come from when people twist the word that their god is teaching them in the bible, koran, whatever to turn that into a negative and use it for the purposes of violence and terror then they are bad people

It is true that most terrorism comes from those who proclaim to be muslim, and has been that way long before 9/11. Yet I look at my muslim friends I made at university and they are a million miles away from these so called terrorist muslim's in their thoughts and beliefs. It is not the fault of the western world that radicals claim to be doing these things in the name of islam.

Only the extreme muslims in America we have a large muslim community that lives in peace and enjoy our freedoms without being singled out Your question is misleading as far as killing civilians in the mideast your wrong also The Us doe's not strap bombs on the women and children to blow up restaurants and mosques the extreme muslims do so until you start telling the truth STFU.

No! the Muslims have killed more of their own than we have,and many of them are guided by a violent religion that is just as violent as the so called Christians that are no better

Gee.. I don't know.. but I think maybe that having a religion based on murdering everybody not like you could play a small part. Oh.. and murdering hundred of millions of people since the cult was created probably plays a small part as well.

Muslims are bad people.They tend to become fundamentalists quite easily and their belief in shariah law is awful.I imagine, how they keep 50 wives and beget 100 children and yet they thought that a woman is impure.Awfully bad.

Because average people are only concerned about the things that effect them, like the terrorist attacks. So form this they conclude Muslims are all terrorists.

Intelligent people who know more about them might not like them because of the way women are treated as secondary individuals in Muslim countries.
