Who is your kpop bias?

my favorite on right now is Eunhyuk or Donghae from Super Junior. It used to be Hongki but i recently changed from a major primadonna to a mayor E.L.F by major i mean like obessed. a month ago i was still freaking obessed with FT Island i mean i had a picture of them on my keychain. and now i have super junior as my picture and background for everything.

I felt that i betrayed FT Island because im the type of person who is liked focused on only one thing, so when i was obessed with FT Island, i watched and listened to ft island and nothing else.and now im doing the same with super junior.

all of my friends were liked so shocked when i said that im not obessed with ft island anymore because i was into them for like 1 1/2 year. and the were my first kpop band and they were the ones that got me into kpop. ( im a recent kpop fan, started in may of 2010).

But dont worry its not like you hate them or anything, just think that you are exploring new things.

SuJu got me into kpop the first, many years ago. after a while, I left kpop 'cause i believed it's unfair and I couldn't find my fav group. until year 2009 on which SS501 got my friend and me again, in Boy Over Flowers. I LOVED them. then we tried other bands, one by one.my friend got cought by shinee, then Big Bang. I liked Kara, f(x), SNSD, mblaq, SHINHWA and...

but in the end, I came back to SS501. it's so special to me. so much that I can't explain. I always wished them more success ('cause they were soooo underated at first. a little like Infinite, that's why they remind me of SS501. also Beast.). then, they started to become more and more popular. until this day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV6LLaJC2Y0

about my bias, I liked Hyun Joong because of BOF, but when I started to know them more, and watched more of them, I found out my focus is all on Young Saeng, his voice, his looks (the cutest man I have ever seen), his shy personality, it caught my almost whole attention. and I don't think it'll change, 'cause it's been about 3 years.

you shouldn't feel betraying them. when you feel like someone's doing better, you'll like them more. that's nature, you can't stop it. and your bias, if you still don't have one, it's simply no one has caught your attention yet. you have to wait, or maybe you should know them more. I hope you've seen SS501's "thank you for waking me up" and "thank you for raising me up" 'cause I started to love them after that.

and it's a good thing that you love all equally, you don't HAVE TO have a bias, anyway. somehow I think having a bias is not all good. it doesn't let you be completely fair.

and to be honest, I admire all of them a lot. and if Young Saeng release a good album, but someone else from SS501 release a better one, I'll buy the other one's album. I will surely rank YS's album, #2 then. and wish him better success next time. but he'll still have my whole Love. I mean, Love is something and being fair is something else. same goes for SS501 vs Other groups/singers.

PS: I still believe kpop is unfair, but I can't get over with SS501^^

My bias group has changed like 5 times lol

My first bias group was either 2pm or Wondergirls (I honestly can't remember lol it was so long ago, like 2008) and I love Wooyoung and Yubin.

Then I got into SHINee and Onew stole my heart. Although Key is a very close second. At first yeah I did feel bad for ditching 2pm for SHINee, but then Jay got kicked out so I didn't feel so bad lol (Jay is the **** I could not believe it- still love 2pm though). And Big Bang is always there when I need some hip hop to balance out the cutesy stuff (GD and TOP are my faves)

Then B2st debuted with Bad Girl and I betrayed my bias group once again and jumped to the B2uty ship, and it is amazing over here! In order of faves for me its- Hyunseung, Yoseob, Kikwang, Dongwoon, Doojoon, Junhyung.

I got really into Ukiss briefly and they almost topped the list but not quite.

But then Infinite came out and I've been in such deep love with Infinite for like a year now, they are my 2nd favorite group now (no one will ever replace B2st in my heart) and if you're an Inspirit you know how impossible it is to keep your bias list in check lol. One day I think Woohyun is the best with his sexy voice (forever swooning over Namstar), then Sungjong goes and does something adorable, then Leader acts all cool and awesome, then Hoya is just amazing at everything, Yeollie is hilarious, and all L has to do is show his face and BOOM bias list is forever changing.

So for me B2st is my number 1 bias (going on 2 years now yay!!!!), Infinite is number 2, SHINee and Big Bang tied for 3rd, and the rest rank pretty evenly cause I like to give everyone a chance (and I can't choose!). And by everyone I do mean most groups (i.e. SuJu, DBSK, Teen Top, MBLAQ, Ft island, CNBlue, Dalmatian, Ukiss, Boyfriend, BILASA! (LOL eatyourkimchi reference), Block B, The Boss, ZE:A, etc)

If you can't pick a bias just think about this if (insert name) broke up, on a scale of 1 to 10 how depressed would you be....?

I know what you mean!! Hm here's what I say:

My overall KPOP bias is Lee Joon.

My overall favourite group is MBLAQ.

But that's just in general. So that means I don't feel like I'm betraying MBLAQ when I suddenly find Super Junior funny and want to find more about them. I can like other groups and not feel pressured to just have one bias.

I really like Super Junior at the moment but MBLAQ is still like my top group. If my friends asked me who my top group was I would say:

Overall, probably MBLAQ but I'm sooo digging SUJU right now lol XD

Haha im just like you! Sometimes when i change the group that i like the most, i feel like im betraying the previous group and i try to hang onto them but i get distracted by the new group i like so i feel bad lol (if you get what i mean xD)

But right now, my favourite group is B2ST and MBLAQ not far behind. I used to really like SHINee before that i liked 2PM.

So i guess i could say that my faves are B2ST, MBLAQ and SHINee ^_^ I also like SuJu but im not completely obsessed with them.

From B2ST i like all of them but if i had to pick a favourite it would be Kikwang and maybe Yoseob. From MBLAQ i would pick Lee Joon and from SHINee, all of them.

For girl groups i like f(x), 2NE1 and miss A

Jaejoong is my bias.

Although I have other biases from other groups, I know Jaejoong is my bias because he's the person that I absolutely admire and care about. Like, there was times when you get into a new group and have a 'phase' when you want to learn everything about this (happened to me with 2PM, MBLAQ, etc.), but with DBSK & Jaejoong, that "phase" is still continuing for me.

My favorite KPop Group is After School.

They werent my first KPop Group but I realized I liked them more than other groups because I enjoyed watching them on variety shows more, I found their songs addicting and I found myself more interested in learning about the members/groups more than others.

My bias in After School is Jung Ah and usually when I pick a bias in a group, it's usually the first person that I notice in the MV and Jung Ah was the first person I spot on in the Because of You MV. I think it was her hair? :S .. I was new to KPop at the time, and i guess the short blonde hair just stood out to me lol, but anyways, she became my favorite because of her personality and her talent. I found myself wanting to learn more about her than the rest and i discovered how clumsy and adorable she can be ^^

That's usually what I do actually, when it's my first time watching a MV by a KPop Group, I watch it until someone stands out to me, whether it's their appearance or the way they sang the song etc, and I usually watch a show to get to know that one person, and then I start to like that person later just because I was focusing on that one person, but sometimes yenno, the others outshine that one person and I suddenly start picking favorites :S

I think the same situation goes for you lol, whichever member stands out to you the most (personality and talent wise), that's probably your bias of the group x]

I completely understand how you feel - I can't choose just ONE favourite kpop group or kpop bias no matter how hard I try. My top 3 kpop bands in no particular order are Super Junior, DBSK and Big Bang.

My biases are Kyuhyun, T.O.P and Changmin

I got into kpop through Super Junior.

Then I discovered Beast, but there was something there that just didn't seem right :P

Now I've found my ultimate bias group. Infinite. and my bias Myungsoo is in that wonderful amazing group ^^
