What's your favorite knife brand?

For everything EDC, hunting, or anything.

Update:

I like my SOG FLASH II. I carry it with me 24/7. For fixed blades I go with a SOG Seal Pup.I used to have BUCk 119. Great knife just thought it was too flashy and reflective.

I've been meaning to pick up a Gerber. D!cks' has a Gerber Bears Grill Collection flip open on sale for $30.

    Buck and Gil Hibben knives.

Also the knives of my EDC are

Gerber paraframe (or paraframe II,not sure)

    Winchester folder

And either the buck 119 or the winchester fixed blade,If Its going to be a long day I take the smaller winchester, its more comfortable.

I do not carry the gil hibben because while its legal it is huge and would give people the idea im a serial killer...

Source(s): Own a buck 119 and a Gil Hibben Rambo machete, plan on owning more from both of them.

    S&W.

Here's why: I was changing the oil on my dads car and we went to some auto shop. Being a guy I see a knife that's under $20, since my dad's not a jerk like my mom can be he says that I can buy it.

So at home I take it out and put it through the test, I have a few other knives and I always test them by running the blade lightly against my skin, my dad has corrected this by doing it against hair not skin. But with every other knife I ever got new, none ever drew blood. As I ran the blade using hardly the things own weight I cut myself immediately I was like holy crap this mother trucker is a sharp mother trucker (The actual way that it played out was much more vulgar). It cuts well and I would trust my life with it if I ever had to use it in a fight. A great knife and I can open it with one hand in under a second and it's not a switchblade.

I've had a lot of good experience with a Gerber fixed blade, especially for backpacking and hiking. Very dependable.

I prefer Gerber. I find their knives to be the ideal combination of quality and price for me.

But that is just my opinion.

I have two great ones that. Buck and a Schrade "Uncle Buck" both have gutted and butchered many deer. Hold and edge good too.
