Is it ok to beat your child if she's being annoying?

I wouldn't say do it because she's being annoying.. she's only 5. I wouldn't let her win all the time because she needs to learn how to play properly and that she won't win at everything.

But don't be mean to her just because she was proud of herself, you should have cheered her on... what you did seems mean.

Absolutely not. If there IS an offense a child could commit that might warrant a "beating," surely "being annoying" is not one. You lost control, which made you a very ineffective parent at that moment.

There are far better, more effective means of disciplining your child, and they will not lead to the guilt you are probably feeling now. Look into them.

No... Instead teach her about not being a sore loser or a sore winner. (BTW Sore winner is a winner who makes everyone else feel bad & then no one wants to play with them)

Sure and when she gets bigger than you she will kill you or beat you. Imagine all that anger afte many years of abuse. She will shoot or stab you more than once.
