WE ARE HEADING FOR THE BIGGEST FINANCIAL CRISIS IN HISTORY!!!?

I'm predicting that we are heading for the biggest financial crisis in history, We have all heard about recessions, bailouts and quite recently the double-dip recession (the recession coming back) and markets going bust and we have also heard that we have recovered and secured most of are banks again, but realistically, that's not good enough, I think the nature of economics is beyond todays politicians, since no one really understands economics to its core and it's based mainly around theories, I don't think any politician or economic expert in the world can solve this crisis, well maybe I can make the exception for Ron Paul. But after carefully observing the markets I've calculated that there is no one way countries like Greece will ever recover, there're heading for pure economic meltdown, mark my words, they are living on borrowed time, look at the riots ever single day in greece, the EU is going to spark a revolution in that country, there are riots every single day, when you take people's democracy from them, violence becomes the only logical alternative, they are heading for default, there's only one alternative, to become a failed state and start all over again. I do strongly believe we are heading for not another Great Depression, but THE GREATEST DEPRESSION, I do think this is going to have a major impact on world history and will leave a defining legacy which will shape and influence future governments, and also be a major history lesson a hundred years from now, eventually we will see another wall street crash, except it's not going to just crash, it's going to crash and burn, and will be 100 times worse, there is going to be mass unemployment, not hundreds of millions, but BILLIONS unemployed, the dollar will be worth toilet paper eventually inflation will fly through the roof, probably rise to 100%, or 50-60% at least, unless America vote for Ron Paul in 2012. These are frightening times we are living in, this economic crisis will force powerful nations into wars because of their insecurity from the economic impact, because without a strong economy, there is no power The Euro is wrecking the markets and pushing the world closer and closer to making all this a reality, we can expect countries to become so politically and economically unstable they will become anarchy nations, and since anarchy is not a stable form of government (no government) they will become a subject of the power-hungry and then the world will have to start all over again, the reason I am not convinced that we will ever recover is the fact that the national debt keeps rising uncontrollably and it takes a lot more than just an economic plan to fix the economy blah blah... but the only thing that does make me optimistic is RON PAUL, he's not a career politician, he understands history and has lived it, he has studied economics nearly all his life, he understands the real problems that need to be fixed, I can't over emphasis him enough, He wouldn't fix every problem, but he would make a tremendous improvement on the economy, so if America rejects him again, I can't even describe the horror that America will face.

True. The debt clock isn't looking too healthy at the moment.

In saying that it is more to do with government policies after World War two that have created that situation. Globalisation is improving the lifestyles of people in foreign aid nations and suppressing the progress of citizens in the nations that give foreign aid and take foreign aid students.

This world wide situation is more to do with cunning planning by wealthy third world nations, and muslim nations who want to export all their social problems, and social services to our nations, because the wealthy in their own nations don't want to pay any tax to look after their own weak and vulnerable.

If you educate and feed your enemy, and develop their infrastructure then you are weakening your own own nation and won't have people in positions of power making the right decisions for your own citizens.

I'm voting for Ron Paul and you are somewhat right on the coming depression. But exaggerating the depression and saying Ron Paul is the only way out just makes you look nuts. There is probably going to be a depression. I don't think Ron Paul will prevent it. And unless we get a really worthwhile conservative congress in office at the same time I don't think he can do much to minimize it.

Didn't read your whole blog , but I am voting for Ron Paul since he is the ONLY polician that will tackle the root of the problem. But... even still, things will still get worse before getting better even with Ron Paul getting elected. However.. we at least will be on the right track .

We have been in it for several years. The Bush Depression will end up being fare worse than the Hoover Depression.

The catalyst as far as people taking to the streets was when Boehner the loner pointed out to people that he and his ilk have been conducting a war against the middle class. He got just too cute for his own good. Goes with being basically stupid and greedy.

Yup the U.S. dollars position as the worlds reserve currency and the constant inflation and illegal taxation of U.S. dollar will lead the world to a global depression, when bernanke finally causes hyperinflation that is a death sentance to the worlds financial systems... the only person who has the balls to stand up to bernanke and washington is Ron Paul... if he is not elected in 2012 I will be moving to southeast asia because I dont want to be around the U.S. during widespread social unrest. and it is literally imposible to pay off our debts without admiting bankrupcy.

P.S. the guy above me is an idiot and know not one bit of austrian economics.

    RON PAUL 2012 PLEASE!!!!!!!

Yes, we are. And it is the ultimate culmination of 20 years of effort by the free traders.

    The Triangle Fire

By forcing U.S. workers to compete directly with foreign sweatshop workers, they are inevitably forcing U.S. workers back into the sweatshops here in the USA.

The wealthy always want sweatshops. They have them in the developing nations today. They had them 100 years ago in the USA.

Democrats and Republicans are working together to do the bidding of the ultra wealthy power elite, using mass unemployment to force U.S. born workers back into the sweatshops. They are using free trade to send jobs out of the country, and they are using H1B visas and illegal immigrant workers to soak up jobs here in this country, all to create a scarcity of jobs for U.S. born workers.

Democrats and Republicans put on a public display of fighting over things, so they can set us to fighting amongst ourselves. Then while we're occupied with issues like flag burning, abortion, and the debt ceiling, the politicians meet in secret to conspire against us behind our backs.

Almost every government policy today supports this effort, in one way or another.

agreed. The best thing that could happen is for the EU to split up. It is dead in the water anyway. The financially strong countries need to be left standing, or there will be noone. GERMANY CANT SAVE THE EU AND NIETHER CAN ENGLAND. And WE need to STOP trying to bail out everybody and save ourselves.

Ron Paul is done, he doesn't appeal to most people, and he doesn't get the big picture.

He is like Obama 2.0 promising change that just won't be delivered.

He has been shot down numerous times and this election won't be an exception.

I am predicting that you are less than 3 decades old.

We are always on the brink of catastrophe.

One elected official wont make a difference.

We're always going to die, this happens every election year
