what gift do i get him?? i was thinking something for his house?

ive just started dating this guy, he is 34. he has a house and he said first time i was round there this corner needs something in it. its not a huge amount of space but its big enough to put a plant or a statue etc i dont know!! :S he just really helped me out last night so i really want to get something to show him how much i appreciated his help. as we have only been on three dates and only met on the first date. (which was 8days ago!) lol 3dates one week :)

gift doesnt have to be for the cornver of his front room, i would just appreciate some ideas because i have none!!!
