I've seen the viral posts, but I can't find a single verifiable source that she did or did not say it at any point. But I do know someone who did say it:

It's verbatim the same joke beginning at 1:30 yet was actually posted in April 2011. The actual event happened earlier. And all the quotes about Betty White saying it are not until well after. The earliest I can find is September 2011. It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together.
