Well I hope this makes sense to you too. I'm taking a song about a relationship and using the theme of a man wanting to be free of the relationship which just wasn't right and was a false relationship. So I'm using that theme and carrying it farther into our relationship in society as a group of people being under the thumb of government and groups that would opress and use us to their advantage.

"People Are Strange" - Doors. The song is about being alone and lost, feeling isolated, insignificant to others. I think "strange" refers to being depressed while around everyone else seems to be happy. You walk around town, you have no one to talk to, no one knows who you are, you just don't seem to fit in.
