Is my hand sprained? or not? Please help?
Today when i was playing rugby, one of the girls accidentally stepped on my hand. i don't know if it was my imagination or not but i think i heard a crack. she stepped on the part of my hand a little under the joint of my pinky. Its swollen and i tried icing it but when u did it would be in more pain. so can you tell me whether or not it is sprained.

You should go to the doctor and have an xray. Small bones can be easily broken, and if it is broken you should see to it asap or maybe face longterm problems. Whenever there has been trauma, esp if you heard a crack, have an xray.

If you cannot bend or turn your wrist it is probably sprained. Either way you should go to the doctor the will give you a splint for it so you can put your hand in it.

idk just make sure you take care of it and don't hurt it anymore and i promise either way, it will go away soon if swelling gets worse ice it and if that really doesnt work go to the doctor don't worry i'm sure its not that bad though :):):)
