what is the difference between 'potential simple' and 'potential compuesto' in Spanish?
i am not talking about how to conjugate them but in the meaning. they both seem to me are used in hypothetical situations. i dont see the difference between 'Habría corrido' and correría. don't they just both mean i would run?

habría corrido: the action is in the past (habría corrido pero estaba cansada, i would have run but i was tired)
correría: the action is in the future (correría mañana pero estoy ocupada, i woud run tomorrow but im busy)
