Democrats, who do you want to get the Republican nomination?

I find your comments re-assuring. I am a Republican supporting Mitt Romney. I like how Cain is a fresh face, not your typical politician, but on the other hand it just kills me that he has zero political experience. I don't know how well he could do as President because he has never even been mayor of a town. I would unhappily vote for him, but I think he would be better suited as an economic adviser of some sort.

I also agree with you that the typical GOP view against non-Christians and homosexuals needs to be corrected. That makes me somewhat liberal on those issues. Gays and non-Christians are as much a part of the country as anyone else, and they should not be vilified. I know far-right religious voters disagree, but they should get over it.

i'm very almost surely useful that on the Republican component the candidate would be John McCain. Now with the Democratic mumbo-jumbo, it extremely is yet another tale. Clinton or Obama? White or black? experienced or...properly, no longer as experienced. i'm going for Obama. I advise, supply the beginner of challenge! Mitt Romney is an all around moderate, I like him. Cain would get little to nothing done as president. For one, that "9-9-9" plan has not a snowball's chance in hell of EVER getting through congress, two, Romney has the business executive background as well as he was a governor. I don't care what anyone says, him having held an elected office before makes him a better choice. Being a pizza executive does not make you qualified to be president. Washington is not corporate America. Third, ideologues talk about issues, pragmatist get it done. And lastly, Romney does not wear his faith on his sleeve. We are not electing a pastor, we're electing a PRESIDENT.

The consensus is "Anyone but Obama", but I don't think he'll have anything to fear...as long as he's not running against Ron Paul. I hear his campaign theme for re-election will be taxing the rich. So he will likely maintain his base and they will ignore his dismal record. But if Barry O is faced with a staunch anti-war candidate like Ron Paul, no amount of taxing the rich will help Barry.

I personally feel that if any establishment candidate gets the nomination, it will be smooth sailing for Barry and the Acorn Administration.

It doesn't matter to me. Because no matter who gets the nomination, I will be voting for President Obama.
