Best breakout remedy?

My forehead has been breaking out for a week with little bumps. I'm not sure what to use, salicylic acid, peroxide, clean and clear, tea tree. Any good inexpensive treatments you swear by?

First of all, DO NOT use any medication with salicylic acid! It dries out your skin. Do this:

    1. Take a small handful of dry oats (oatmeal)

    2. Run it through lukewarm water

    3. Massage on your face

    4. Rinse

You can do this as your skin care routine. You can even put oatmeal in your bathtub! It makes your skin smooth and feeling fresh!

Hope this helps! Good luck. Peace and Blessings <3

I have tried lots of stuff and nothing ever seems to work. I have very few breakouts now since Ive found the best face wash. Its the neutragena stress control face wash it looks minty green and has beads in it. It smells like cucumbers and melons or watermelon. I use it once a day and find it the best in the shower. It doesn't ever dry out my skin either and can be found at Walmart. Oh and for really bad spots ill use the proactiv mask for 10 min after washing face then moisturize but i haven't used it in awhile.

Source(s): I've tied lots of stuff like proactiv, acne kit, neutrogena, clearasil, clearasil ultra, regular soap bars, cleansers, liquid, etc.

Wash your face with Boscia Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast morning and night. After your face dries use DDF Oil Free Moisture. Go to the dermatologist and ask about Retin - A! After a month and a half to two months, you will definitely see results using it. Retin - A is my HG, and can be used up to about 8 months. Retin - A is used only once a day, at night, after you wash your face you use Retin - A, 15-20 minutes after applying the product you moisturize with the moisturizer I suggested. Your skin will be sensitive at first, but it is worth it! Twice a week you need to use a face mask and exfoliate. Exfoliate with Phytomer Vegetal Exfoliant right after you shower (in hot water because the steam opens and cleans out your pores), you apply the exfoliant and leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off with cold water. Use a homemade facial mask. My favorite is the oatmeal yogurt mask. You crush two tablespoons of crushed oats, add two tablespoons of original non-fat yogurt, and two tablespoons of water and mix the remedy until it turns into a paste. Next apply the mix onto your face and leave it on for 15 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.

    TIPS:

Drink 8 glasses of water a day

Clean your bedding every other day

Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night

    Take a multi vitamin daily

Keep your hair out of your face

Try drinking Vita Coco Coconut Water

    Don't touch your face

    Don't get stressed out

i had a really bad break out problem but all over my face :/ i use all 3 of these and all 3 are cheap

    1. deep action exfoliating scrub by clean and clear,

    2. deep action cream cleanser for sensitive skin by clean and clear

    3. Mint Julep Masque by queen Helene

i use the clean and clear each time i take a shower, both are oil free, and after using them your face feels nice and clean and cool.

the mint julep masque is a face mask, it smells good, and makes your face feel super clean, i recommend only using it once or twice a week (try to go with only once, you dont want to dry out your face) it helps dry up any kind of break out, and helps shrink enlarged pores. if you have a stubborn zit or pimple, put it on, let it sit for an hour or even over night (it dries within ten minutes or so)

this cleared up my face in little less than a week and i have very sensitive skin. the clean and clear are both oil free, so it doesnt make me break out more after using them, since i use them daily

    good luck

Exfoliate your face using just sugar, then wash your face with a mild face wash like clean and clear daily wash, and put a spot treatment (i swear by clean and clear advantage spot treatment) on the problem spots. When I do this at night 80% of it is gone, if not all of it by the next morning.

    Good luck!

Epsom salts!!! I SWEAR by it! It'll clear you right up! You can even pick it up at the dollar store - just make sure its not scented.
