Should a "Christian" TV station do this?
A "Christian" TV station broadcasting in english, half from England, half from Spain. but registered in Spain to escape U.K. broadcasting laws, is broadcasting programs by Seventh Day Adventists.
When people complained that this was not a Christian group, the head of the TV company said they would continue to show the programs and would rely on their viewers to bring to light any error (after it was broadcast)
Is this good stewardship, caring for the flock?

A Christian MUST keep the Jewish Sabbath or lose their salvation.

A history of false prophecy regarding the return of Jesus.
Salvation is only received by adhering to their beliefs / being a Seventh Day Adventist.
Their "evangelism" consists of getting people to become Seventh Day Adventists.
The TV station said they took out a Spanish broadcasting license because they were being censored under U.K. laws.
I found graphic descriptions of homosexual acts and photographs of aborted embryos being aired during periods when children were likely to be watching with no warning given to be irresponsible and I reported them for each offense.
The owner also launches into tirades against viewers if they suggest improvements, despite them quoting Scriptural references. Sometimes he apologizes but usually not.
@ SDA4Christ,
1Cr 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
Why is the title more to you than Jesus?
Like the pharisees you entangle people in the law. Do you not know that he that is in Christ is dead to the law?
@ 2FollowHim,
It is true the Salvation Army do not baptize or hold the celebration of the Lord's Supper, but that does not mean they do not believe in either ordnance. The reason for not celebrating the Lord's Supper as a group, is due to a significant number being former alcoholics and have vowed never to touch alcohol again. They do this out of respect for their brethren but many go elsewhere to partake in the Lord's Supper.
The Sabbath is found in Scripture but never do we find Christians keeping it. We find Christians came together on the first day of the week not the seventh. Paul did enter the synagogues on the Sabbath but that was to evangelize Jews who would be worshiping YHWH, never is it stated he worshiped in the synagogue.
The Sabbath was given only to Jews to observe, never to Gentiles or the Church.
Freedom of speech / expression is not something which is taught from Scripture, in fact the Scriptures speak to the contrary.
Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
Titus 1:11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
God does not hold to freedom of speech in any way or form.
The Sabbath was given to the Jews at Mount Sinai, they had no neighbours to do business with in their wanderings in the wilderness. This teaching that the Sabbath was given because of seven day trading has no place in Scripture.
@ CoffeePot12,
I have reported facts. I mentioned nothing concerning the lady you brought up, Christians have no problem calling God, "God"
Regarding the Sabbath, why do you pick and choose what aspects you obey? What about stoning people who don't observe it? You are COMMANDED to put them to death yet you disobey. You are not allowed to walk more than a Sabbath days journey (about 1,000 yards) yet you disobey. You are happy to allow others to break the Sabbath for your convenience. You are hypocrites!
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
You have made the death of Christ of none effect.
I do not make snide remarks, they are open and true.
The TV station I refer to does not broadcast the people you mention, you falsely accuse.

It sounds very irresponsible to me, especially going to such lengths to escape U.K. laws of censorship etc.
True Christians usually make absolutely sure that we keep the laws of the land, because we were never given permission to break the natural laws of the government that God has placed us under for any reason. Christians shouldn't even speed on the roads, park in non-parking areas, download illegal music or do anything which infringes on the laws of the land such as parking in handicapped spaces without a handicap "badge" etc., so maybe the owners of this Station are actually 'pseudo-Christians'. They certainly sound as if they are, broadcasting SDA cultish doctrines which will deceive young vulnerable Christians. Unfortunately a lot of Christians are naive. I had an Aunt who would not accept that the Mormons were not a Christian group because they happened to have the Name of Jesus Christ in their title ("Church of JEsus Christ of Latter Day Saints"). This sort of thinking is ludicrous.
We must always go by God's Word, not by what men say.
I'm afraid it is the 'times' we're living in. For example, a so-called Christian bookshop will often 'mix' the things they are selling also and in order to make money, will sell Hallowe'en paraphernalia or New Age icons, Idols, or even Occult games such as Ouija boards, and other Pagan goods etc., under the guise of being Christian. We must continually be on our guard but that's not so easy for baby Christians, still on the milk of the Word.
It is happening because of the great deception Jesus said would come in the final days in Matthew 24 and other places in His Word and also greed of mankind.
If the owner cannot accept the truth from God's Word then there is definitely something radically wrong and money is uppermost in his mind. People do get very angry when their 'real' motive for broadcasting is discerned by somebody and their 'idol' (greed for money) is fingered. I have had Christians react this way also, so I am not surprised to hear it is happening. We are going to see these things get worse and worse as this old world gets darker and darker. (Evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, DECEIVING and BEING DECEIVED 2 Timothy 3:13).
As it was in the days of Noah (and Lot) so shall it also be in the days of the coming of the Son of Man. I suppose we can say it means the 'time' is getting closer. Jesus said, "When you see these things happening, look up for your redemption draweth nigh" or words to that effect.

I think a disclaimer could be put that SDA teachings are based primarily on their founder,
E.G. White. Like Mormons & JW's, any questions are not dealt first by the bible,
but by the leader of their group. So then, if the bible does not 'line up' with the leader,
then it is the bible that must be 'corrected'.
That said, things like prophecy are all over the place with many views by many groups.
I would trust 'Theos' (don't like the wrong term, God which then allows Muslims to claim
brotherhood with Allah). I would trust Theos to decide who would watch, who would not
watch.
And then, I do follow the Sabbath. It is 100% of the bible. There is no sunday in the
bible, only sabbaths ( you can check out Strong's for this). A word about sabbath.
It was in effect long before the law, and only became part of it because the Jews
would not observe it, but tried to do business with their pagan neighbours that day.
They apparently would be at the gates of the city until the literal sundown hour,
and there again the next day.
I think your question is whether someone legislates what is Christian? And what
is a Christian? Did you know, for example, that the Salvation Army do not believe
in baptism nor do they believe in the Lord's supper?
This cuts out a lot of people then who are under the Christian umbrella, doesn't it?
I think we have to decide if we will watch or not. Depends on what these homosexual
acts were about? If they were promoting it, or if they were saying it was wrong.
Otherwise, we are in danger of losing free speech. And then we are in danger
of who decides what can and cannot be said. Free speech can and is abused,
but the alternative is worse.

Carl you are giving incorrect information, snide comments, and out right lies.
Here is one of our links that will show where and what the stations broadcast.
We keep Sabbath because it is part of the Ten Commandments, we follow what Christ teaches. If you don't like it take it up with the head carpenter.
Yes we are Christians, we follow everything in the Bible, Ellen White was a light that pointed everyone to get back into studying the Bible the church is not built on what she said or did. It is based on The Word of G-d. And yes we do kept the Sabbath, it is not only for Jews, Christ went to the cross for everyone. Christ kept the Sabbath and we follow Christ.
I have watched the programs offered on a sun day morning and there is more salvation in a vacuum infomercial. Olsteen sucks and Haggee blows.

I didn't know that seventh day adventists were not Christian.
I do not know a lot of the beliefs or doctrines of any religion aside from the Jw's and very little about the Baptist. Neither teach according to scripture. lots of bending twisting and untruth is what I have come to find.
i have only read what is in Gods Word the Bible.
First of all just the politics of how they even got the station seems unlawful. Gods people obey the laws of the land, respect the powers that be, and when Jesus wants his people to know something he will show them. God is powerful he would make the rocks speak if he had no one to speak his Word to them. So this shady way of delivering whatever message they have is first of all unlawful and secondly shameless.
Carl if possible can you explain briefly what the SDA are all about? Do they not recognize Jesus as our Lord & Savior?or are they still hung up on the Sabbath?I dont know about this religion.

As far as Adventist broadcasts are concerned, having been for some years rather starved of good TV across the Atlantic, we were grateful to them for some very good quality programmes without any proselytising content -- for example, a series about the development of the Waldensian Church (which was an evangelical church centuries before the Reformation). If this station is using good documentary programmes of this kind, there can surely be no objection? Likewise, we were grateful to a Roman Catholic channel (EWTN) for some beautiful broadcasts of organ music played by a well known Presbyterian and of choral music from Anglican places of worship. If we adopt too rigid a view of what we do and do not approve of, we can find ourselves throwing out the baby with the bathwater.

I would question if it really is a Christian TV station, since it put the doctrine of man before the word of God. No Christian station should ever feed God's children false doctrine, which the SDA's preach. It might rather be a religious owned station, and not truly a Christian station at all. Romans 10:8-10 is how anyone can be born again.

The only time I can see Christian TV here is early every Sunday morning when they show a Mass in Tagalog.
Think yourself lucky you get some Christian TV on that channel and then not watch the non Christian LDS trash.
I wonder if they would broadcast a JW meeting, if they allowed it?

They could lead some people astray. To me, it's a border-line cult. They condemn anyone who doesn't "keep the Sabbath" which is an OT covenant thing. I've always gone to church (since I was a baby) on Sunday, but they seem to get hateful and argumentative about it often and act as though we are all going to hell if we worship on Sunday instead of Saturday. That's one way their preachers keep their flock in that church. LIke the Catholics who say their church is the only true church and that keeps their people from going to another church when they become unhappy with the Catholics. It puts them in bondage.

So you think that this Christian station shouldn't broadcast a Seventh-Day Adventist program because you have issues with that program because of your definition of Christianity?
It's right what this TV station is doing. Let the people decide if they want to watch the programs of this Christian denomination or not.

Too often the the people of the Church move in compromise for favor of man and money. This sounds like both
