Emergency Kitten Question!?
My older cat knocked the sewing machine off the table and it landed on my 8 week old kitten's head. She yelled, seized up for a couple of minutes, and then walked in clockwise circles for a bit before settling down in my lap to sleep. My friend says it just knocked her silly and she should be ok in a few days.
Any serious things/changes i should look for?
Right now she's asleep on my shoulder, purring and wheezing just a tiny bit. Payday isn't until next week, or else i'd take her to the er vet tonight.

I would definitely take her to the ER vet asap. Any true veterinarian would not turn their head on her bc you don't have the money at this time. If they do, you don't want to use that particular vet in the future. If she has a concussion, she may need immediate attention. Do not let her sleep for at least an hour after accident. WAKE HER UP IF YOU CAN! If she vomits, she may indeed have a concussion. Or she could end up with what is called head tilt in animals. It's a disorder of the brain. My prayers and best wishes are with you and both your kitties. GOOD LUCK DEAR!

You are fortunate that the kitten lived through this as sewing machines are very heavy. Talk to the vet and explain that she needs to be seen but you do not get paid until next week. Ask if you can write a post dated check. The kitten needs to see a vet for possible head injuries or possible internal bleeding.

I would suggest not to let her sleep, just like humans when they might have a concussion. I would assume it's the same thing, she might slip into a coma. Keep her awake for as long as you are possible, and if nothing happens, she's probably okay. But I would take her to vet as soon as you could anyway.

Oh jeez can you call in the vet and request on what to do before you bring her? That doesn't at all sound good!
