Should I expect snow in Dublin by 1st week of November?
I will be traveling from the United States to Dublin in 2 weeks. I have read that in many parts of Ireland, snow is expected as early as Wednesday of this coming week. How likely is it that I will see snow in Dublin? Or, is the snow expected to only be in the northern parts of the country?

Judging by the temp tonight I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we have snow soon. Honestly, we never really know what's going to happen weatherwise here until it is actually happening. All we know for sure is that rain is never too far away. If it is 'normal' snow, it will last for only a few days. If is accompanied by below zero temperatures, as in the last few years, it will stick around much longer. If you are staying in the city, it won't be too bad. However, if you are travelling to the country, it might be difficult for you as some of the roads become impassible. Bring warm clothes and something waterproof to put over them. Hope you enjoy your stay.

As early as next week?! Gosh I hope not ....
I think it's still much too mild for snow, but then our weather is famously unpredictable ....

I wouldn't rule it out.
I have been hearing reports since the summer that it will snow in October.
