Are their any legitimate online Colleges and Universities? I've heard that degrees from University of Phoenix are frowned upon by businesses so are their any that are respected?

Many online universities can be frowned upon because they are not accredited. Your best best is to take online courses from a traditional, accredited university.

The best online education is available from your community college or state university. If they do not offer the programs you want, consider the University of Illinois and the University of Maryland, which have the largest public online programs in the nation. Even with out-of-state tuition, they will be less expensive than the online for-profit proprietary colleges and you will also receive a much better education.

A lot of employers frown upon the for-profit/proprietary/as seen on tv schools, so avoid U of P, Strayer, Devry, ITT, Walden, etc. Instead, if you must do this degree online, look at the online degrees offered by the traditional, brick and mortar schools.

Check to see if the community colleges and public unis in your home state offer online degrees. If they do, you may get the lower, in-state rate on tuition. If they do not, then look at the online degrees offered by UMass Amherst, Florida State, Drexel, U Denver, Regis U, U Illinois, BU, Northeastern, and the other traditional schools.
