R&S Christians: Are you glorifying God by using your gifts here?

Martin, I try very hard to answer questions in R&S with the Word of God and not give my own opinions as so many do. It's not looked upon with favor because there are a lot of people in this forum that are disinterested, not mature enough to handle it, or have been taught bad doctrine and wouldn't know the truth if it bit their noses.

All I can do is study to show myself approved unto God a workman needing not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth and share what I have learned with others. It's up to them to do what they want with the knowledge imparted to them. I'm not upset one way or the other because God is in control. I'm sure He gets the truth to those who want it. People give me thumbs down all the time but that is because they have not put in the long hours of study or the number of years that I have and do not understand ... rightly dividing the word of truth.

I have been teaching since 1975 off and on so I sincerely hope I am using the gift(s) He has given me not just in here but wherever I am and in whomever's company I happen to be for their edification and to honor and glorify God.

The Holy Spirit has not given me the gift of teaching, so I don't try and teach, unlike every JW that claim they are required to teach to be saved and must go door to door recruiting.

I wan not given any gifts for sharing God's word, my giftt of the spirit was a worker, one of those that works out the back and their results are seen but their efforts are not.

By using this site I don't apply any gift just my desire to ask questions to understand how people like JW's can be so misguided as to believe the lies from the WBTS as they do.

I try to glorify God by what I say here but it is not through any gift of the Spirit from God.

Very few here would have that gifting and it is not required here as we who obey the rules do not preach here.

Hi Martin, Thanks for asking. My intent is to glorify God and hopefully make Him better known to those who have questions. Sometimes I have to skip out for a while when inundated with the foolish mocking of Christians, but don't seem to be able to stay away too long. Usually I wait until I see questions that show that someone really wants to know more of God. This is my own little mission field and I enjoy it.

Each believer and follower of Christ has been given different gift, and let the gift be used to glorify the Lord.

Yes, and yet I get criticisms from other Christians sometimes. Guess that helps me to be careful. We have to be sure to be filled with the spirit and walk in the spirit, otherwise we will offend, and truthfully we will offend anyway. R&S isn't the easiest place to shine your light but I never asked for an easy place either. Just want to be where the Lord wants me to be.
