How do i convince my father to buy me a camera?

Show him how well you are at taking photos and how much you have taken an interest into photography.

Okay first of all, the 70$ cameras arent for real photography, its like for taking pictures with friends and making a cute cheap photo album or something. "Photography is my passion", do not use that against your father because it sounds extremely lame and he wont buy it.

The 70$ are the cheap ones that you use for like nothing but if thats all you want it for, tell your dad how serious you are about this. DO NOT raise your voice against him, remain calm and state your point and why you want it. But if you want to do serious photography, dont even bother, youre dad wont say yes to that.

OR just get a job and buy your own camera

Well you don't have make him buy it, Christmas is coming up and you can ask for money or a camera for Christmas and you can say that's all you have to get me if you get me this camera you don't have to get me anything else....if that doesn't work than my 1st suggestion. Oh and your better off buying a more expesive one because they are better and will last a lot longer than a cheep $70 one so I think its worth the extra money.

-try saying I will do a certain amount of chores for the camera

- say he can use it for taking pictures of his passion or bring it to one of his convention (in all it will at least add up to 1 week of not having your camera)

-Tell him he's crushing your dreams because photography is your passion

-if you want to eventually be a photographer say it will get me ready for the job I want

Buy it yourself... My parents only give me birthday money and Christmas money ($30 & $60) and thats all I get besides if I do house work. Obviously they pay for my food, clothes and basic things, but I buy any things that are wants, electronics (including a cell phone, plus all the minutes), my car (&insurance), and college. And my life after that. It wouldn't be that hard to earn...Do some work. (:

it particularly is no longer a count of convincing your father. it particularly is on your man or woman survival. no count if or no longer you pass away the abode, you'll want the money you have saved now to stay once you ultimately pass away the abode. save you cash and don't purchase a dSLR.
