TMI personal-ish info but in need of some Relief!!!!?

ok, so i am 16weeks 3days pregnant with my 2nd. after i had my son 2yrs ago i was left with some pretty hefty hemorrhoids. over the years i have been able to stand them and they went down significantly. HOWEVER, now with being preggers again and being constipated occasionally i am finding myself very uncomfortable and in pain when having a bowel movement. other that preparation h what other remedies can i look into or is it something i should probably go to my dr with???

Prep-H is the about the only thing that will help but as you get into your 7th and 8th month it will not be any easier. Unfortunately, the baby is putting pressure on all your organs, and unfortunately there's not much you can do. You just have to ride it out. Just one of the luxuries we women have on being pregnant. try not sitting to much. This can make the hemorrhoids worse. Ask any long distance truckers, they suffer from driving 12-15 hours a day. I bless you and your child and hope the discomfort is not to much a pain in the butt. (Really no pun intended)!:) Have a happy healthy child!

You have to first help your body fix the cause and allow the hemmoroids to not get so irritated...

So first you need to go pick up a good stool softener... Dulcolax or philips work well and are not stimulants so they just soften the stool not make you go... These are perfectly safe to take while pregnant or nursing...

Once you take a dose or two you should start to see improvement within a few hours... Also continue to use a topical treatment for the existing hemmoroids...

If you don't notice a big improvement after a week of doing both, ask your doctor for prescriptions of both as they are stronger... But the over the counters should help you significantly...
