Depo Provera effects? is this normal?
Alright so I started the shot in July, had sex before it was effective, got my next period completely normal. I broke up with my boyfriend and so i haven't had sex since. I got my next period two weeks early and it lasted for two weeks. I started a week after that one ended. I went to the doctor and they said it was a side effect. Only a week after I finished that period I got it AGAIN and I've been on it ever since. It's been almost six weeks and I don't think that's normal. What could this be?

It's just the shot. If you wait it out the bleeding should slow then stop. Once you body adjusts you may lose your period all together.

I was on depo when i was younger when i got my first shot i wasn't on my period cause my doctor insisted i needed a physical before he'd let me get it because of the fact that i wasn't on my period it cause my period to come early and i had my period on and off for the 3 months till i got the next shot once i got that second shot my period slowed down then once it stopped it didn't come back until i stopped taking the shot so if you got the shot when you weren't on your period it will continue like this until you get your next shot

I went through the same situation when I was on Depo, its a terrible thing. You can either wait it out until your body fixes itself or do what I did and go on the pill to regulate your cycle. I was on the pill 3 months to be safe and had a completely normal cycle afterwards.
