If life void of death: explain how to lay hold on it now.

The Bible holds two different forms of "eternal life." There are those who will be Immortal and eternal rulers of Heavenly New Jerusalem and then there are those who will be resurrected to a possible eternal (never-ending, as Adam and Eve would have had, had they remained perfect). These peoples will always rely on God for their youth and life, but will never age or be sick.

In other words, someone with Immortality doesn't need anything, oxygen, heat, food to live. They don't just have life, they ARE life.

Someone with eternal life will always be a subject of God's will.

After Jesus died and rose again from the dead, it was the introduction to eternal

life for all that would believe in his resurrection. The proof to "doubting" Thomas

was his seeing Jesus with his own eyes and touching the wound in his side which

was inflicted after his death on the cross.

Since Jesus died and rose from the dead, all believers who die will also rise from

the dead, never to die again. A new life void of death.

For those that don't accept the fact that Jesus died and rose again; after their death

they will be raised again to appear before God at what is known as the Great White

Throne Judgement, where they will be cast into a lake of fire and brimstone for eternity,

which is known as "the second death".

Well there are two potential deaths - physical (bodily) and spiritual.

For Christians, there is eternal spiritual life after fleshly death. But for unbelievers, they die twice - first in the body and then in the spirit.

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Eternal life is after physical death. Jesus was a pure sacrifice and if he had been touched by Mary before ascending to God, then he would have been defiled according to God's law. When he ascended he became a spiritual being as no human body can live in heaven. Just as we, when the rapture comes we will be ascended bodily but be changed to a spiritual being.

    John 20:17

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

    1 Corinthians 15:50-52 (NLT)

50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! 52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

It's life void of death. Like it or not, it doesn't require any action on our part. Just enjoy it.

    Neither. It's not possible.

Existing requires energy -- so the "eternal life" of even one being would require an infinite amount of energy. There isn't an infinite amount of energy. So "eternal life" for even one being isn't possible, let alone "eternal life" for billions of beings.

    Peace.

Ants die when you step on them, so do we. Why would we be any different?
