Ford F 150 Blinking O/D light?
2002 Ford F 150 4.2 blinking o/d light and truck shifts hard. Went on line and found out 300 people have same problem but no one says how to fix it. can someone tell me the fix for this truck?

i'm thinking that your transmission, particularily the overdrive gear, might have problems

O/D light is blinking because it has set a transmission code. It needs to be scanned to determine what code has been set. It shifts hard because with the code set the computer is setting max line pressure for the transmission.
