What are the best salt supplements for Ironman Triathletes?
Signed up for another Ironman and am wondering what some of you use for salt tablets during your long rides/runs/races

I don't use any. I drink mostly fluid replacement drinks like Cytomax, Gatorade, etc. rather than water and that seems to give me enough in the way of electrolytes. Whether that works for you will depend on your sweat composition. Some people dump a lot more salt out through their pores per liter of sweat, and thus require supplements.
This can also be affected by the way you train. If you're doing a lot of mileage in warm conditions, your system learns to conserve electrolytes. I don't have AC at home, and prefer to train in the heat of the day when possible, so I'm pretty well heat adapted by the time the long races come around (Kona, Moo, GFT)

Hi Tim, I'm finding the high five "zero" isotonic tablets really good. It is easy to add them to your aero drink bottle as you refill it.
