Do I need my own transportation if I go to emh at Disney or do the buses and monorails still work after that?

you only get extra magic hours if you stay in a disney world hotel and obviously disney would not just make people find their own transportation to the parks.

trust me the buses/boats/monorails run during EMH. i've been assured by cast members driving the buses that even if you are the last person in the park and its 4am they will make a special trip to take your back to your disney world hotel so you NEVER have to worry.

Disney buses and the monorail runs until every guest at the park going to a Disney resort has been picked up. So yes it does run during Magic Hours

You do not have to worry one bit. The bus and monrail run untill two hours after park closing. This includes EMH. Since EMH is only for guest who are staying at Disney Resorts it would be wrong for disney not keep the busses running back to the resort.

Your question brings up a good point. I have read so many questions that start, "I hears" or maybe "I thought"/ Just find out for yourself, like you have done and rely on correct answers or contact DisneyWorld guest service.
