Tattoo with symbolism?
Hello,
I have wanted a tattoo for a while, black and white! The only thing is I want something that symbolizes love, beauty, and rebirth or the continuation of life and hope, or strength. Any Ideas of a tattoo that would symbolize one or many of the things. I'm native american so if there are native american symbols even better. I want one that is about the size of a post it to go under my breast! If you can provide pictures that would be great! Thank you!
I have been thinking a lock and key if anyone can find some good black and white designs or has any ideas of anything else to throw in there.

So you are another one of those generic Native Americans....the kind who think we all share one culture and that beliefs and traditions don't differ from Nation to Nation, tribe to tribe? I have to assume that, as you only posted the generic "I'm native american so if there are native american symbols even better."......as if all our symbols are the same.
If you need to ask strangers on the internet, for ideas for a tattoo that you are going to have on your body forever....then you aren't ready for a tattoo.....you are getting it for the sake of getting one. A certain picture, design or symbol should call to you. The skin where it needs to go should ache to have it there. You should feel like you can't live without it permanently etched on your flesh.......if you don't, then you'll just be another person with a random tattoo that you will eventually forget the reason why you even got it.

Something as simple as a circle can get the point across.
Everything in life is a circle.
I suggest thinking a little bit though. Go over ideas that mean something to you personally.
A tattoo artist can always help you come up with original ideas.

So, you're "native american"? What do your tribal elders say? You're NOT native american, obviously, or you wouldn't be asking total strangers about symbols. You'd know them.
And they are different for each culture. Saying "native american culture" is like saying "Causcasian culture". There are many different ones.
And some tribes, such as mine, prohibit tattoos. Again, you'd know that if you really were native.
