One of the most misinterpreted passages in the Bible.
Matthew 16:28 does not say second coming. Jesus did enter into His kingdom at the transfiguration, so He did fulfill the prophecy.
Matthew 23:36 prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem about 70 AD, which was in the generation that Jesus spoke to. Again prophecy fulfilled.
Jesus never failed any prophecies. You are very deceived.

You know I could give you a date of when I think the world would end too and then when the world doesn't end would you criticize me? Probably. Actually you'd probably laugh if I even told you a date and dismiss me without even waiting to see if the world would end.

every one of the apostles save john was persecuted/executed. in 70 ad nearly a million jews were crucified by roman invaders.
Jesus told the truth.

giving dates were his first mistakes as a false prophet
(mt of transfiguration, next verse)
(one generation will see all of the signs)
there, no squirming needed

Doesn't matter when it comes, I will be ready.
If he told you when, it would defeat the purpose of faith.
