what is causing my severe dry hands?
my hands are so dry that they crack and the skin peels till they are raw and hurt. i have tried alot of things but i havent found anything to help. lotion just sits on top of my skin and doesnt moisturize it. the dry skin is only on my hands and nowhere else. i have heard its my nerves because i get so stressed out, is that true? it has been happening for the last year or so and im tired of it. i can hardly pick anything up without my hands being in pain.
any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem..my hands get red very dry and cracked feels like they are on fire. This usually happens to me because I wash my hands a lot thru out the day. It gets worse when the weather changes. Do you wash your hands a lot? Do you notice the wind/cold weather make it worse? Try using softsoap antibacterial it helps me a lot with the dryness and also using vaseline like lotion on your hands before bedtime helps a lot!!
