i am 24 and i have an older brother who is 26. i also have another older brother and an older sister. my mom was a single parent to 4 kids and always worked her butt off to provide for us, now my 26 year old brother is completely lazy! he has two kids and a wife but flat out refuses to work or go to school and every month i find myself paying for more than half of their rent< everybody tells me that i should stop helping him but if i stop helping im worried about my niece and nephew, its not their fault he wont get off his butt. he smokes weed all day and plays video games all night. i would do almost anything to get him into shape and on his feet! i joined the army at 17 and have worked for everything i have so it frustrates me to see him doing nothing with himself. we grew up seeing my mom with a strong work ethic so in turn i think i picked up on it. but somehow it skipped one of my brothers... lol it sounds crazy but hes a 26 yr old guy and doesn't want to work almost anywhere. i had a really good job lined up for him making 17 an hr and he wouldn't quit smoking weed for it!! he doesn't want to work i the heat or doesn't wan to work doing manual labor and when i asked him what he wanted to do with his life (no lie) he told me he wanted to be a race car driver....smh.... i told him to grow up. i want to be a pimp from oakland or an astronaut but its not halloween! im at a loss on what to do. i told him i would buy him a car or books or whatever he needed if he would go to school or get a job. and he wont. he has an excuse for everything. even with two kids and a wife he wont step up... and his wife lets him because she doesn't want to start a fight!! he said he wants to work at subway cause he can be in the AC and make himself food! please help with any advice!! for some reason it stresses me out... i try to figure out more ways to help him more than i do on my own problems... i guess i just want to see him happy and successful. my mom always tells me "you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink" and its so true lol i could put the world in front of him and he'll figure out a way to break up weed on it....

i have an xbox 360 and BF3, it keeps asking me to download the update but every time i do it makes the game freeze?? i dont know what to do about it and i just now downloaded the "back to karkand" map pack and it wount let me play unless i have the update... and when it finally does let me into a game im the only one and i sit there forever and cant move while it says "waiting for 6 more players" does this happen to anyone else?? please help me resolve this problem! thank you

i have a 98 honda civic EX and the driver side window and backseat window wont roll up or down... when i push i button, i hear the motor going but the window doesnt move, what can cause this? also the driver door does not open from the inside... the previous owner said the window fell off the track and must have mess up the door handle .. is that possible? the door willl open from the outside but not from hte inside, its pretty frustrating trying to reach through the back window to get out of the car..

i now live in phx (peoria) az and i would like to move to either portland OR. or denver CO. i have never been to oregon but i heard its nice there and i love colorado and have been through denver to my cousins house. i would hate to move to the slum of denver and not realize it till its too late lol if anybody has any ideas of the best part to live cities to live in either portland or denver let me know!

my hands are so dry that they crack and the skin peels till they are raw and hurt. i have tried alot of things but i havent found anything to help. lotion just sits on top of my skin and doesnt moisturize it. the dry skin is only on my hands and nowhere else. i have heard its my nerves because i get so stressed out, is that true? it has been happening for the last year or so and im tired of it. i can hardly pick anything up without my hands being in pain.

i just bought a ninja 250 just as a cheap transportation bike and it runs fine but it idles WAY high or too low, i try to sit there and play with the knob to get it just right but it either idles at 4k rpm or 1k rpm and at 1k rpm it sounds like it wants to die, and once i get going and come to a red light, it dies! and i have to restart it every time i stop or let off the gas to slow down.

i guess it was setting for a few months in the guys garage and i have clean out the carbs and put carb cleaner in the gas and it still dies! so now im lost as to what to do next

im wondering where i can get a good cheap car vehicle for my new job. i have looked around everywhere and all the places i have been to are shady! (no cactus jacks) i dont mind paying high interest cause thats kind of expected at these kind of places. but i dont want a lemon either!

im trying to decide which vehicle to get, im looking at 3 vehicles. 1) 96 jeep grand cherokee 2) 96 toyota tacoma 3) 96 chevy s-10 blazer (2 door)

all get about the same MPG's and all SEEM reliable but i have never driven a chevy blazer or a tacoma, i love the jeep but out of all the vehicles it gets the worst MPG's and it costs more. with that said, i just want something that will get me to and from work and also go camping or to the river every once in a while. i like the bed of the truck because we ride mountain bikes and dirt bikes and if i got the tacoma i wouldnt need a trailer and the 2.7 is bullet proof! i love the look of a lifted 2 door blazer and they get ok mpg's. im not sure how reliable they are or anything else besides the basic specs, i have always loved jeeps but i dont really need the 4 doors and the get about 14 mpg's... but the back seats fold down for nice storage and they are utterly reliable ( i drove my 92 jeep cherokee till it reached 283k miles then my gf blew the engine) so i just need some opinions about the vehicles i have listed, or if you have another good vehicle in mind let me know!

a buddy of mine wants to sell me his 95 4 runner, it has 205k miles on it and a small oil leak (that he doesnt know where its coming from) my question is... are these good vehicles? how long do the engines last? (i had a jeep that went to 280k miles before it crapped out) i love toyota and i like the look of it but i would hate to buy it just to have it die on me a few months down the road....

he wants $2100 for it.

me and my girlfriend have been trying to concieve for about a year now and and have had ZERO luck, not even a miscarraige.... we have tried almost everything (ovulation tests, only having sex once a week, having sex every other day, her laying in bed with her hips up for a while after wards) and im lost on what to do next... BUT my brother and sister in law had drunk sex a month ago and forgot to use a condom and she got pregnant that one time they didnt use protection, so im thinking should we just get S**T faced and have sex?? please help! thank you for any and all tips/info you may have!

ok so this girl i have been dating for a year now and we have a good relationship, but she can never make up her mind (don't say cause shes a female) im not saying like clothes or anything but no matter what the situation is she always says "i dont know" or "i dont care" she will say shes hungry and ill ask her what she wants and she will say "i dont know" or "i dont care" and i love her to death but at the same time i want some one who can make their own decisions about every day things like what movie they want to watch at the theater or what to do for our anniversary or anything! i was looking at new motorcycles and i asked her opinion about which one she liked better and all she could say is "its up to you" and it starts arguments cause i only ask to get her opinion! she never adds her 2 cents into anything! it may sound like im ranting and raving but she did it ALL day today and im tired of it. today was her day off and All day shes like im bored every ten minutes and i ask her well what do you want to do and all she replies "i dont know" and i suggest all kinds of things all her replies are either "i dont know" or again "i dont care"

but wait that's not all!

half the time she'll say lets get something to eat, ill ask her what she wants to eat, she says i dont care, ill say ok lets go to jack in the box, she'll throw a fit and say she doesn't want jack in the box! then the argument starts! why in the world say i dont care if you DO care what you eat!?!?!?! i just dont understand.... and im lost... i want someone that puts forth her opinion and her personality!

i have an AR15 and i love to shoot with iron sights,

my buddys got coyote hunting all the time with ar-15's but they all have scopes and all kinds of high tech gadgets. but what i was wondering is how hard would it be to hunt with iron sights? they usually hunt only out to about 150-200 yards.

has anybody tried this and if so, how successful were you?

i was arrested on march 5th for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and disorderly conduct.

me and my GF were sitting in a right hand turning lane waiting for a funeral procession to go through the intersection when a big suv came up behind us and became impatient, they start honking and and yelling and flipping us off out of their windows, when they tried to come off the road and up to the driver side of our car, me not wanting to be next to them i took off, they sped up to us again on the driver side, and when they caught up to us the passenger was hanging waist deep out of his window and yelling for me to pull over and that he just got out of prison and he was gonna **** my GF and all kinds of other ****, well me being scared he was gonna try something i pulled out my gun and set it on my lap (just to let them know i was armed and to back off) well when they seen me pull out my gun they slammed on the brakes and called the police.

they told the police i pointed the gun at them and tried to shoot them but

after they backed off, i put my gun back in my holster and continued to my nephews birthday party. a few miles down the road all of peoria police were behind us yelling for us to get out of the car and on the ground.

after explaing to the police what happened and that i was protecting me and my gf they took me to jail where i sat for 2 months!

well now im on house arrest and facing either taking a felony plea bargain or taking it to trial in which if i lose im facing 5 to 15 years in prison.

does anybody have any advice or experience???

im a usmc veteran, im going to school to get my criminal justice degree (because i wanted to be a police officer) but the justice system is so screwed idk if i want to be associated with it...

but taking a felony plea bargain would screw up my chances for ever getting back into the military or becoming a police officer, let alone getting any good job or into any decent apartments, im 22 years old and a felony would pretty much screw me for the rest fo my life but so would 5 to 15 in prison

my lawyer isnt really helping me all that much and he is pressuring me to take the plea agreement... so i dont know what to do. please help!

i currently live in phoenix AZ and me and my girlfriend are looking to move out of state. we love the outdoors! (hunting, fishing, camping, snow boarding, shooting) and we love seasons, like fall, winter, Spring and summer. phoenix doesn't have any distinction between seasons lol its either hot as hell or kinda chilly. ok with all that being said, we are interested in colorado, oregon and washington.

i was wondering if anybody has any time spent living in any of these states and ill appreciate any advice or experience. we are city people so im not looking for any small towns, but midsized towns would be ok. they don't have to be the capitol of the state.

i have just gotten out of the marine corps and would like to know what fighting style is best. the only martial arts training i have is the USMC combatives...

i have heard a lot of of good things about both kenpo and krav maga but wondered if i could get any personal feedback from someone who has actually done the training instead of internet commando's throwing in their opinion. im a fairly large guy (6'2 and 230 pounds) and not very flexible lol

also i have heard some stuff about a style called systema?? im not too sure what is is but any info on that would be much appreciated! with that being said, im more of a guy that doesn'tnt like to fight. if i have to, ill handle business but i want to know how to put a guy or multiple guys down and get away from the situation. so i mainly want it for defensive purposes. im not a cage fighter or a bar room brawler lol so im not looking to be a bad *** that wants to fight everybody.

does anybody know of how to go about changing this? i wasnt in for more than 180 days and a couple recruiters told me that they shouldt have given me that high of an RE code but i was wondering if there is anything i can do to change this or can i join the guard to get it changed? any answers would help out ALOT!!!
