Whats this noise about Christians and God gave us free will because even animals have free will?
every animal on earth has free will and a choice to make so why do Christians magnify free will as if its only a human thing.its one hell of an excuse that has saved them in countless arguments maybe thats why they stick to it
do animals make choices?yes or no m not talking about behavioral patterns because even humans have that even though it a lot more diverse.

Because it is TRUE that animals have free will.
(and why no one ever say that animals will got to hell for not accepting Jesus). *Existence of souls cannot be proven, and furthermore based on what evidence do we have that 'animals do not have souls'?

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
I'm a LDS Christian and believe "faith without works is dead" James 2:17-18. This means that you have hope, believe, and act on it. As Christians, we are supposed to become more like Christ. The gospel is also a gospel of action. Our thoughts, words, acts and habits eventually define us. We are what we've chosen to become, with the experience, light and knowledge we've been given. We have the potential to become something great, or something horrible. Our agency is power given to us from God to create our lives. We can be anything we want.
Nature doesn't have free will. It strictly follows laws. I mean, sure a bear can choose to eat berries or change his mind if he wants some salmon from the river. But he can't decide to become evil. The earth, the elements and all creatures obey God. They don't have the ability to switch sides. Besides, that would be really freaky.
edit: Yes they can make good choices, but they can't "choose" to follow Satan. They are like little children, innocent. If they sinned, they would be held accountable and that's not fair to their level. Sometimes they eat people, sometimes they save their dog friends. They are creatures, wild or domesticated they are sweet or violent. Either way, all I'm saying is that they're on God's side.

Animals do not have free will, have you studied them out in nature? They follow the same lifestyle. They hunt, mate, and do other things, but they never get out of their "circle".
*I might be wrong though.
