Buy Living Room Set Now?

Question

I'm thinking of buying a Living Room set.  Originally we had planned to buy after saving up the money and maybe after tax returns come through.  Well after shopping this week, 2-3 companies are offering 50-70% off their sets.  Should I buy now considering the sales or is this perhaps a marketing scheme and there will be equally as good sales/prices in a month or 2?

Yikes! Do you have a particular reason for buying a furniture package? Sometimes it can be cheaper to buy furniture separately. If you need or want advice for living room decor, you can find guides on Apartment Therapy, AskMen.com, and other interior design through StumbleUpon.

I can't answer if it is a deal or not. However, I am more concerned that you are committing to someone else's style. What do you like about the set? Is it vintage? Is it contemporary? Does it come with lighting? 

I'd suggest that you hold onto your money and collect different pieces or DIY interior design and create a unique living room over 6 months.

There are great deals on almost everything on Black Friday.  We bought our last furniture set marked way down just before tax time because they were reducing their inventory.  50 to 70% off is a really good deal though...
