Frends pls help me and guide me step by step how to transfer movies and songs from my laptop to my applephone ?

I've been using iPods for years and they work fine on either windows or mac platform.

Click on the iPhone tab in iTunes and drag the music and movie files into the iTunes window.

While iPods and ipHones will take music files in any of the commonly used formats, video is restricted to files in mp4/h.264. It might take h.263, divx and 3G2/3GP (haven't really tried). You might as well stick with h.264 because you can convert to it easily using "quick media converter" (which I've used for nearly 3 years). The only other format worth trying is 3G2 or 3GP - these are basically the same, formats used for cellphones (the difference may be between GSM and CDMA phones). 3G2/3GP are low resolution and don't look as good as mp4, but on small screens you may not notice. 3G2/3GP have a big advantage in size - taking up only about 70mb for an hour long TV show episode, compared to anywhere from 350mb to nearly 500mb in MP4.
