What is wrong with me? Cant sleep and stay asleep!?
I have been having trouble sleeping for a while now. Like 2 or 3 months. I just sit there and roll around and nothing happens. Takes me about 2 or 3 hours to go to sleep. Just recently, I have been having the same problem with a added problem of me not being able to sleep continuously. I woke up at like 3 o clock this morning, feeling sharp and alert. It takes me about 15 mins to go back to sleep. I did that 3 times today. I have had this problem for about 3 days.
Whats wrong with me? I am a teenager in good physical shape.

Try going to sleep at eleven tonight. Have a light meal like bread or porridge at 9pm. And then, get things arranged like homework or tidy the room. Those things create stress, which you need to get out of your head.
And, at 10.15pm, have a warm cup of milk.
10.45pm, have a hot shower. As hot as you can bear.
11pm, go to bed. Close all lights, even the slightest of lights might prevent you from sleeping.
If you wake up early in the morning at 2/3am, take a pee, and then go back to sleep.
If it doesn't work, it's alright. Wake up 7am tomorrow, and stay awake throughout the day. Exercise as normal, and you'll be exhausted by night. Repeat the procedures above, and I'm sure you'll be able to sleep tightly.
Hope it helps.

Avoid coffee and high caffeine energy drinks.
Exercise, but not close to bed time.
Try a sleeping pill to catch up on your missed sleep and to regulate you back to a regular cycle.

To sleep better just relax and switch off, if you can.
If you are having trouble switching off at bedtime some light exercise (for example, push ups or sit ups) at bedtime often helps you to relax, unwind and switch off and that often improves your sleep. Strenuous exercise at bedtime is likely to ruin your sleep.
Common sleep aids include warm milk, Chamomile tea, 5-HTP, Melatonin and Valerian.
Sleep enhancing foods are supposed to include turkey, cherries, oatmeal, bananas, wine and others as in http://au.search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=A0oGkmOObYl...
