Do Dealerships typically Sell In line Aftermarket fuel Filters?

Title Says it all.

Basicly I'm looking to purchase an Aftermarket Fuel Filter for my Kawasaki ninja 250. And I need a smaller fuel filter then Autozone has. I need a plastic (clear) filter, that's roughly less then 3 Inches in length (including the hose attaching spots)

I was looking at a brand of Filters called "VISU-FILTER" and they have a certain filter its like a Cone,. The intake is the tip of the cone, and the Filter element rests around the base...

My current filter is not working properly and leads to fuel leaks, and a kinked up fuel line.

Update:

Yeah I figured as much. I was hoping to save a little money on Shipping costs by picking up a Filter Locally... Anyone know like a Large retail store that would Sell Visu-Filter? Not Autozone =( I'm in Florida (If that helps lol)

Update 2:

@Tyler: Shoulda Told me that Before hahaha I litteraly JUST got done ordering 2 Visu-Filters off EBAY for 9.48

Not bad in my opinion.

    Motorcycle dealerships sell Visu-Filters.

Call and ask if they have them in stock.

They can order one and won't charge you shipping.

Yes, but so does the local auto parts store. Just match the fuel line size.

The cone design is sort of common, I bought them 30 years ago but I can't swear it wasn't Visu-Filter but neither can swear it was.

Altho it seems that the cone was acting as an arrow in the direction of flow, Flat to to point.

No, dealerships usuallly dont see aftermarket items. Just make sure the fuel filter you get can flow enough fuel for your 250. I use a pingle bronze fuel filter. The Visu filter will work with no problem.

any parts store shud have em. you gotta have a parts store around there. maybe a sears or sumbody that sells lawnmowers would have em.prolly get it from home depot. even walmart has all filters for engines.

Source(s): ive stuck a very small piece of t shirt in a fuel line to act as a filter til the day was done
