I used to not want a cat then my daughter convinced me it would catch the field mice that try to get in during the winter and the way she asked just won my heart over. Lol, cats are now part of our wonderful family.

Volunteering at an animal shelter is a great suggestion.
First, you will be able to learn about a whole range of cats - from kittens to adults.
Second, you will be doing something good for animals in general, because shelters always need volunteer help - which in the long run, leads to more animals being adopted
Third - if you are a minor, you will most likely be required to have a parent accompany you on your volunteer shifts, and maybe, when your parent sees you interact with the animals and show responsibility for caring for the shelter animals, and with the animal's own "ability" to win people over, it just might convince your parent(s) that having a cat at home wouldn't be such a bad thing.

You can't "make" your parents do anything. If they "absolutely don't want any animals in the house", you're out of luck. You'll have to do what I did when I wanted a kitten as a teenager: wait until you get a place of your own.
Your parents' house, your parents' rules.

If it's a matter of getting your parents permission, first find out why they don't want animals in the first place. Does anyone in the family has a condition that may worsen with the presence of pets (ie. asthma, allergies), is it a matter of hygiene? Or do they think the cost of pet upkeep is too much?
Getting a pet involves responsibilities, so make sure you are well-prepared to deal with it. You can't want to keep a cat and then tell other people to take care of it.

I wanted a kitten since the start of the year. We already had one cat and one dog. I said to my parents that I would feed it and train it to use the kitty litter. And also i paid for it with my own money. We ordered her on the internet and she came on the 11th of January. She turned 1 2 days ago. Paying for it myself really convinced my parents to let me :)

it depends why they don't want the cat
promise to feed, water, and clean the litter box everyday
Some shelters offer a "return" date in case you aren't happy with the animal. so convince your parents to get a cat, take excellent care of it and maybe by the time you "have" to return it if you don't want to keep they'll like the cat.
Also do research show your parents the knowlege you have about cats

volunteer at spca or talk to your parents about the responsibilities of a cat and how you will do all the work and help make money for the vet bills

Built a cat house outside the house. If they repeat that they don't want a cat in the house, you say that the cat is outside the house.
