The Second Commandment is the Longest one and it requires us to Pray only To GOD! That if we pray to anyone or anything else we are sinning! Some modern Catholic Bibles it has been removed from because that religion is made of desires NOT what the Bible dose state. Old Catholic Bibles have the real Second Commandment because they did not expect them to be read, just stared at from the outside, while sitting on a table.
One person challenged me here and he missed it and had split the Tenth one into two commandments then gave me an "oh". I own two Catholic Bible plus . So I can look anytime.

Praying to saints is not in the bible. Christ died on the cross for our sins--to open up a link to us and God. That is why--through Jesus we can pray directly to God. We don't need the saints. To think that God is too busy for us--and we have to pray to some one else to petition our needs to Him--is to #1--say God doesn't love His children in the fashion He says He does and #2--that He is not powerful enough to handle all the prayers of everyone. #3, it's saying that Christ sacrifice was not sufficient enough to give us a direct link to God. Christ Himself says no one can come to the Father, but by me. I believe that included trying to go to Him through saints.

Anyone who is a born again Christian is considered a "saint." It is not a sin but it is useless. It is a doctrine of men brought about by the Roman church. No, it is not in the bible. The bible says that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ.

Leviticus 26:1 "'Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God.

The Bible says we are to pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ. First you have to have a relationship with Jesus Christ so that God can hear your prayers. We are all sinners but Jesus died for us on the cross and rose from the dead to save us from hell. God will give us eternal life if we believe what Jesus did for us and commit our life to Him. Please read the following verses.
“ For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Yes, and praying to Jesus(pbuh) is a sin, also.
