If LSU losses to Georgia....?
Does being a conference champion as an unwritten rule go out the window (yes I realize they went in the past but its frowned upon now)?
Does this open the window for none conference champs a Stanford (needs help), LSU, Alabama or a Boise State (needs help) as well?

I just posed this question answering another one of your questions. This is the BCSs worst nightmare. Lets not forget about the ACC. Their champion should be 1 loss and those losses are to better competition than Texas Tech and Iowa State. Va Tech lost to ranked Clemson and Clemson to Georgia Tech (who has a good chance of beating Georgia next week). The Big 12 shouldnt be considered, if the SEC West cant beat Georgia the SEC should be out and that leaves a PAC 12 ACC title game. Its the system, the BCS system, embrace it!
Source(s): WOW WHAT A DAY YESTERDAY!! Ok, the BCS has made me an Arkansas fan (being a Texas homer that’s saying a lot) and a Georgia fan. A PAC 12 South fan and a Clemson fan. Alright, OU beats OSU and eliminates the Big 12. PAC 12 South (whoever wants to step up) wins the conference and eliminates themselves. 2 loss Clemson wins the ACC..bye-bye. The Big 10 owns the top 25 with 5 teams ranked between 15 and 21 (as of kick off yesterday) and the Big East… is the Big East. A 3 way tie and a Georgia win eliminates the dreaded and feared SEC. The BCS pits Boise State and Houston in the National Championship game and college football fans, even Boise fans in Canada, revolt! 2012 becomes the end of not the world, but the bowl system in college football and we have a playoff!!! I know, I know, it will never happen. Kind of like OU losing to TTU and Baylor and OSU losing to ISU. The only thing stranger will be if OSU actually wins the Big 12. - Boise BrettLv 710 years ago
If LSU loses to Georgia, assuming they don't lose to Miss or Arkansas and clinch the SEC West, then it will probably set up a BCS game between Oregon and Bama. It will also REALLY help Boise State, considering they would have beaten the team that beat the supposed best team in the country, and what was basically a home game for Georgia too.

If LSU loses to Georgia, I think your title game is Bama vs Oregon or maybe Oklahoma.
