How to make my doorknob shock people?

The best way to do this would be to install one of those little electric fence kits that are intended for small gardens. The shock is similar to what you get if you grab a spark plug cable. However there would be the problem of finding a suitable ground. Even if you connect one wire to the door knob you still have to connect the other to something else and depending on the floor, this might not be possible.

DO NOT use the electricity from the outlets in your place. That could kill.

Its not the carpet silly, Its the microwaves effecting you. What you need to do is to 711 and crawl into their large industrial Microwave that they use to microwave their oh so yummy breakfast sandwiches. But first make sure the rotating plate inside is turning counter clockwise in order to counter act the effects you are getting in your office. Then put on high for 3 minutes, stay in Microwave 2 minutes before getting out. You'll be good to go! No more shocking when you touch door knobs. Just a nice constant humming in you head... Listen to me hun Ok. I have worked in a carpeted office for 3 yrs and i have gotten the shocks of my life dammit i hate it. buy some fabric softner sheets like downy. put 1 in each of you pants pocket. Also put 1 in each of the shoes/sneakers/boots/clogs that you wear. You can use it to open the door with too. Oh and your always smell fresh heehee. It works great. PS. Rubber soles never worked for me. everytime i go to open a filling cabinet or a door or i brush by the desk sheesh zzzzzzzp ouch lol Good Luck

Fit a Door bolt on your side of the door. Even if he can pick the lock, he cant get in with a bolt on the inside.

A better lock and perhaps a deadbolt would be much better, and probably easier for you to disarm. I had a Schlage and the locksmith told me that they were fairly difficult to get in to (when I locked myself out of my bedroom).

I can't think of any electrical system that would be reliable and safe enough for your needs. It would also be insanely clumsy to setup/take down. Even low voltage things can melt/catch fire when installed or used incorrectly.
