They both want less government control and influence over business. However, after that, they are completely opposite.
The Tea Party believes in personal responsibility. OWS believes that no one (except the successful) should ever be held accountable for their choices.
The Tea Party believes in less government interference in our daily lives. OWS would like the government to control everything we do (as long as it's what they want, of course).
The Tea Party is filled with hard-working people who got where they are through their own efforts. OWS consists of mainly spoiled rich kids and lazy losers (sometimes one in the same).

OWS members. Digustingly filthy manipulated Sheep, Driven by anarchist.
Not a damn thing in common what so ever.

Tea Party: Wants power returned to the people (less power for govt).
OWS: Wants power returned to the people (less power for wall street/1%).

Not a lot. The Tea Party is well-dressed, clean shaven, body odor-free, can form complete, coherent sentences about their cause, and tidy up after themselves. And at last report, they didn't rape anyone.
Then you had the OWS crowd...

Their both full of annoying, pretentious bell clangers that have all the charm of a southern tent revivalist. They both engender that creepy feeling when you accidentally let a couple Jehovah's Witnesses get their foot in the door.
