14dpo, AF due yesterday/today. VERY light spotting. Symptoms? Should I give up hope for this cycle?
I know implantation bleeding normally happens a bit before your expected period, so I'm not trying to get my hopes up. I just have some questions. I'm spotting extremely lightly (only enough to see a tiny bit when I wipe) and it's brown and old looking, like what normally happens at the very end of my period. I'm also not really cramping, and I ALWAYS have REEEAAAALLY bad cramps. I've been extremely tired, and had cramps like I was about to start AF at 5dpo through 8dpo. I've also gotten nauseous on and off-- and am suddenly repulsed by pickles (which I normally love), Am I being foolish thinking this could mean anything?

You're not being foolish, just hopeful. However, I have been TTC long enough to know that symptoms can mean anything and not to get my hopes up with every cramp, twinge and spot.
As long as AF stays away, you're still in the game, but as you well know, she can show up at any time. Try not to get your hopes up too much. You might be pregnant, but your period might also be wanting to start. I normally get 2 days of spotting before the floodgates open.
Good luck!
