It all really depends on how much "in costume" you look. If you are just wearing the robe and aren't really dressed as a Harry Potter character then that should be fine. However WDW does not allow anyone over a certain age to wear costumes. (I believe for WDW it is 12 instead of 9 like it is at Disneyland). The is to keep children from being confused as to who are characters at WDW and who are guests playing make believe. The fact that it is Universal/Harry Potter really doesn't matter one way or the other.

Honestly, I do not think your going to have any issues. People walk around Disney all day long with merchandise from Universal. Those Thing one and Thing 2 shirts are very popular.
Only kids under the age of 10 are allowed to wear costumes to the park. However, just a robe is not really considered a costume so I do not see it really being an issue.
I have to say I dont really see a lot of harry potter robes at Disney although during the Halloween Parties they were quite popular. You will get a lot of looks and some people will think your strange but it sounds like your secure enough in yourself not to care what people think. I think that is awesome. So I say dont worry and wear your robe and hug those characters. They will love you for your creativity.

No! I've seen people in full Hogwarts costumes around the parks. They don't care what you wear as long as it doesn't expose too much, if you know what I mean.
The only things you can't wear to a Disney park are costumes that highly resemble Disney characters unless you're a little girl freshly out of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They don't let guests do this because they don't want other guests to think that the costumed guest is a Disney character fo'real... people start asking for pictures and stuff. You can only get away with that at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

First of all, I admire your confidence and lack of caring of what others think of you. I think that's awesome and more people should share your beliefs.
As for your question, I totally think it would be fine to wear your robe. Harry Potter is a passion of yours! So show it off! Although they don't own the rights to Harry Potter and their "enemy" park, Universal Studios, has a section devoted to Harry Potter that is thriving right now, they will just be happy you chose to visit Disney. I've seen people walking around with Universal Studios umbrellas! So, put on your robe and Mickey ears, and have fun!!!

Trust me... disney is very GLAD that Harry Potter Place is getting a lot of attention.
No tourist goes to Orlando without going to Disney and those tourist will spend at least 2 days at Disney for every one at Universal Studios.
Unless it is a safety concern on the rides, Disney will not care if you are wearing the robe.

I totally agree with NemoRanger & Blue Rose. I've seen many people at WDW wearing Universal Studios, Thing 1, Thing 2 & Sponge Bob t-shirts, without any problems. Have Fun!

They won't care, though they may ask you to take it off for certain rides, where it could get caught in moving parts and cause you injury. But they won't block you from wearing it.

Don't you think your a little old to wear costumes to Disney lol

I don't think they care. If someone was wearing a spongebob Shirt they can't make them take it off.
