What were the most important moments in history?
I'm writing a book about someone who goes back in time to change the future (because it's such an entirely original concept). What moments could this person go back in time to change? I mean actual moments consisting of hours or minutes, and what could they do to affect the outcome. E.g. stopping JFK from being assassinated.
Bonus points if you tell me how you would change that moment and what the effects of it might be.
(I'd rather you went into lots of detail with one than gave me a huge list.)

If you kill adolf hitler like what that person above me said, the US might have not recovered from the great depression. A HUGE part of the US getting out of the depression was the war, because we were neutral and we were able to supply food an money, and later while Europe was in a rebuilding stage and had no money, the us gave money to help rebuild and was paid back with interest and the US experience prosperity.

Hi there,
You can get Empire Earth III for free from this link: http://bitly.com/1oh8hbq
Empire Earth III is an excellent RTS game where you can experience becoming the ruler of Earth empires. The gameplay of Empire Earth III unfolds in a lavishly well-detailed Earth, and it has 60 maps all in all and it represents a real area on the globe, or you can randomly create a generated globe to control.
Enjoy it.
