It CAN be fun, but so can just getting out in the woods be fun; but there are skills involved that you would need to learn.
The ETHICAL hunter, when shooting game animals or anything other than targets, tries for a 1 shot kill, AND properly handles the kill after shooting it. (I eat mine in most cases, other than "varmints.")
Start by getting parents permission, and then talk to your uncles about helping you learn what you need to know.
State laws vary on minors hunting so you need to be aware of YOUR states laws.
You WILL need a "Hunter Education Course" to obtain a hunting license.
You also need to spend time at a range learning to shoot correctly and accurately; AND safe gun handling. (THIS is where the uncles can help, or some other trained person.)

you should take a hunter education course, which is required by the majority of states to legally hunt, and take it seriously. It covers all of the basic fundamentals like firearm safety, and it teaches the different types of firearms and the types of actions, and the different types of ammo for each. it also stresses safe handling of loaded /unloaded guns. it will explain how to store guns and ammo and cleaning them, how to aim various firearms, the various stances used for accurate shooting, choke selection and shot selection in shotguns, handguns, their parts, and handling techniques.hunting skills and the different types of strategies. muzzleloaders and bow and arrows are also explained too. they also put a major emphasis on being a safe, responsible, and ethical hunter.then they really get into basic survival skills and some first aid know how, and then they usually get into the wildlife conservation section which is important too.you can't hunt in Georgia without taking and passing this 6 hour course unless you hunt only on land owned by your immediate family, but there again you can't hunt legally on that land without licenses and you have to pass this course to get your permits. It may be different where you live, but I would feel a lot better sharing the woods with folks that I know are safe hunters than with ignorant fools, running around the forest, ruining hunts, and jeopardizing mine, and others safety.this course is a good place to start because it gives you the basic fundamentals to start with and the rest you will develop with your time in the field, and I really hope that you get the chances to find out how awesome it is just to be in the outdoors.there's nowhere else I'd rather be than hunting or fishing.Good luck

You don't need the safety course unless you are learning on your own. ask your uncles if they can teach you about guns and hunting. If they cant or won't you, and your friends can't or won't then you pretty much have to wait until your 18 to buy a rifle. And make friends that hunt, and they can teach you

i recommend you start with a base, theres so many things that go into hunting. since you are so young i would recommend you hunting small game. such as rabbits, squirrels, birds, etc. i would say that they are the easiest when you start hunting. they are also alot of fun. You can even hunt them with air rifles. that would maybe make your parents a little more comfortable than you with a gun at such a young age and no one hunting in your family. most important thing is to have fun, right next to being safe.

Ask your uncles if they can help you out, but first you must ask your parents for permission (they may not go hunting for a reason). When you gain knowledge of hunting, safety, and firearms you can then hunt with your friends if they let you.

have one of your uncles teach you, you should start with something smaller like bird or rabit. and when you ask your uncle use the word bonding lol that always works. such as "i want to bond with you uncle _____<<<insert name here, and i want to learn to hunt will you teach me?
also you can use a pellet gun its a good starter for hunting

The best advice I can give you is, don't shoot yourself or someone else.
