Religion does not kill as much as Atheism?

Millions now less than hundreds of thousands, thanks to Christians.

"Yes, millions have been killed in the name of God. But hundreds of thousands were forever demolished because of the actions of Atheists"

If you do believe in a God who is all powerful.....you're making him accountable for all the countless MILLIONS that died due to famine and disease. Also instead of teaching basic hygiene and medicine that could of saved countless more, you worship a guy who sacrificed himself to save us from an evil source that he made up in the first place.

Edit: The germans did numerous human experiments during the course of the war that now contributes to most of todays modern medicine, these atrocities now save countless lives. This issue isn't black and white, their is no defined good or bad. What you need to recognise is religious deaths attributed to nothing, for a delusion. Manhattan project ended a war. Religion starts wars.

Atheists do not worship any man (or woman). We hold him in high regard.

Someone - with brains- had to invent a weapon that would end WW2. It just happened to be an atheist.

Ordinarily atheists have no reason to kill. We are not trying to force our ideas on others like religious people do.If we hadn't ended the war there would have been many more millions killed. It was a necessary evil. And we haven't used it again. The killing for religious reasons just never stops. No one ever learns. How can you compare dropping the 2 bombs on an aggressor country to end the atrocities of war and the continuing crimes of religious zealots?????

Also science is not the rooot of moral problems how humans choose to use discoveries of science are. I believe it was the Allied Forces who actually dropped the bombs on Japan and they were not atheists
