Is Ron Paul the only candidate who is not a sellout?

Even if you think some of his ideas are "radical" you have to admit he is the only candidate running for president who is not a sellout and/or partisan puppet.

Simple answer seems to be a resounding YES.

    Peace.

You said it perfectly. Ron Paul is an extreme radical who sticks to his beliefs.

That's hardly what I'd want in a President though. A guy with radical ideas who won't change his mind regardless of the evidence.

Being willing to change your mind in the light of new evidence is a positive trait. Willingness to temper your ideas when they are radically different from everyone else's is a positive trait.

He's the worst sellout of them all. He wants to go back to the gold standard, allowing people who hoard gold to become millionaires.

He wants to abolish the Federal Reserve Board. Without this agency the govt wold HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO POWER to regulate the money supply or interests rates. Its there to stabilized the currency. Without it the dollar would have been worthless and our social security system would have been bankrupt.

He wants to abolish the EPA, allowing polluters the chance to pollute with impunity.

He want to abolish the Americans with Disabilities Act which means going back to the days before accessible buses and street corners.

He want to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which means Whites Only cafeterias.

Clearly this guy is off his kilter.

Market Forces don't dictate fair policy. They never have and they never will. If they did Wall Streeters wouldn't have sold fraudulent mortgages. Only laws dictate fair policy. That's called govt. regulation Its a dirty word to the libertarians but its necessary. That's the problem with them.

And I'm sorry but I used to respect how Paul went after corruption in govt. However the more I see the more I see how corrupt HE IS. If I'm smart enough to know his ideas are crazy so is he. He does it anyway to make a name for himself, increase speaker fees and his book sales.

You Paulites are being lead down a primrose path. You're being lied to and you don't even know it. You're very nice people but your also VERY naive!! Ron Paul is a performer and a conman

Ron Paul has NEVER sold out his constituents nor has he ever lied to the people of America.

Ron Paul is the ONLY man in Politics that does NOT owe favors to anyone or any corporate entity.

Ron Paul has the best ethical standards in Washington.

Ron Paul works in the best interest of We The PEOPLE.

No one else even tries for the public's best interest.

This is why the party won't nominate Ron Paul.

He refuses to hurt America to promote any party and will not play by their unethical rules.

I don't know about all that, but he does want to curtail / derail the police state and end our neocolonialist empire supporting military that's sucking our economic lifeblood like a vampire. Sun Tzu is laughing at us in his grave!

No--Jon Huntsman, too, is not a sellout, and that's part of the reason why he can't get any attention.

Neither is Rick Santorum, though Santorum is an idiot.

If by sellout you mean outside interests compromising his views, you are perhaps correct.

I would rather have an honest man I disagreed with than someone who says what I like that I don't trust.

i have to agree...while i do not agree w/ Ron Paul on HOW he would govern on several specifics...

i do see him as "honorable" in holding firmly on his ideals...i respect the man for that...

    Sadly yes.

And he's the only one who's not in "lock-step" with Bush and Obama and their many failed policies.
